High on Life è uno sparatutto in prima persona comico con elementi di azione-avventura e Metroidvania sviluppato e pubblicato da Squanch Games. Il gioco segue un neolaureato delle superiori senza direzione la cui vita viene stravolta quando il Cartello G3, un'organizzazione criminale aliena, invade la Terra con piani per trasformare l'umanità in una droga. Un'arma aliena parlante di nome Kenny convince il giocatore a riprendere la lotta, e la storia principale coinvolge diventare un cacciatore di taglie che insegue ed elimina la leadership del cartello un obiettivo alla volta.
Il combattimento si basa sui Gatlians, cinque armi aliene senzienti che parlano costantemente durante il gioco. Ogni Gatlian ha una personalità distinta e un proprio commento sugli eventi, insieme a modalità di fuoco uniche.
