The land of Ecendael was once a thriving nation, safeguarded by the Wardens of Change. That was, until  Morrigan the Unfading, once a Warden herself, betrayed the order and unleashed the Last Season—a plague of stagnation that drains life, warps minds, and spreads unstoppable corruption.
