End of Season 12: League of Legends 





Another season in League of Legends is coming to an end. Can you believe it's been 13 years since the game was released? Yes, League of Legends was released in 2009, and the current, 12th season has brought us a lot of changes. Many new champions were introduced to the game. Some of them were accepted immediately, even by the professional scene. Halfway through the year, Riot decided to curb burst damage with a major durability update. At the beginning of the season, 2 new dragons were introduced. The Chemtech Dragon offered such strong buffs that it had to be removed from the game just two weeks into the Ranked Season.


 


End date


 


This season ends on November 14, 2022, 11:59:59 PM local server time. For Apex Tiers, the season ends 15 minutes earlier, at 11:45 PM local server time. If you started the game and are in the loading screen before November 14, 2022, 11:59:59 PM local server time, this game will be the last one for you this season and it will count towards your rewards progress. For Apex Tiers, the same rule applies, but only to 11:45 PM. You can queue up one last time, but the match will not count if it takes place after 11:45 PM local server time.

End of season rewards


 


Each season, Riot rewards every player who contributes to competitive play by participating in ranked matches. Rewards depend on your final division rank. The best rewards are given to players who reach the gold tier or higher. In this case, you will receive a Victorious Sejuani skin and various chromas depending on your rank. In the table you can see the available rewards for each rank. Starting this year, Chromas will be awarded to players for the Solo/Duo queue and the Flex queue. You will receive a chroma for each division in which you finish higher than Gold. This means that if you end up Master in SoloQ and Diamond in Flex, you will receive Solo Platinum, Solo Diamond, and Solo Master Chromas, as well as the Flex Platinum and Flex Diamond Chromas.
