Sleeping Dogs is a third-person open-world action-adventure game set in contemporary Hong Kong. Players control Wei Shen, an undercover police officer who infiltrates a Triad organization called the Sun On Yee. Gameplay emphasizes melee combat using martial arts moves, grapples, and environmental attacks over gunplay, alongside driving, parkour, and open-world exploration. The game features a triple experience system split between Triad, Police, and Face progression paths, each unlocking different abilities and rewards.

In this open world game, you play the role of Wei Shen, an undercover cop trying to take down the Triads from the inside out. You'll have to prove yourself worthy as you fight your way up the organization, taking part in brutal criminal activities without blowing your cover.
Torn between your loyalty to the badge and a criminal code of honor, you will risk everything as the lines between truth, loyalty and justice become permanently blurred.
