The fame applies to the combat equipment currently worn by the player. It will not apply for gathering gear or empty slots. Adept's Tome of Insight may not be used towards fame for gathering, farming or crafting skills. Adept's Tome of Insight may be used by clicking on the Tome and selecting 'Use' from the corresponding item popup window. This reward is not modified by any zone or premium bonuses. The fame earned can be applied to fame credit generation from auto-respec and free respec. During events that grant additional Fame, the Adept's Tome of Insight also grants more fame (for example, during the "+25% Fame for All" event, using the Adept's Tome of Insight will grant the player 25% more combat fame).
