Green Hell è un gioco di simulazione di sopravvivenza open-world sviluppato e pubblicato da Creepy Jar, uno studio indipendente con sede a Varsavia, Polonia, fondato nel 2016. È entrato in accesso anticipato su Steam il 29 agosto 2018 e ha raggiunto la sua versione completa 1.0 il 5 settembre 2019 per PC, con Nintendo Switch che è seguita nell'ottobre 2020, PlayStation 4 e Xbox One a giugno 2021. Una modalità storia opzionale mette il giocatore nei panni dell'antropologo Jake Higgins, che si sveglia ai margini del fiume Amazzoni alla ricerca della moglie scomparsa Mia, una linguista che è scomparsa mentre cercava di aprire un contatto diplomatico con una tribù non contattata nota come Yabahuaca. L'unico legame di Jake con Mia è attraverso una radio, e mentre la storia si sviluppa per circa 25 ore, rivela gradualmente segreti più oscuri legati al suo passato e alle forze in gioco nel profondo della giungla. Una campagna prequel gratuita, Spirits of Amazonia, è stata rilasciata in due parti nel 2021 e successivamente ampliata ulteriormente, aggiungendo oltre 20 ore di contenuti narrativi aggiuntivi che esplorano gli eventi che portano alla campagna originale.
