Jocul urmărește un absolvent recent de liceu fără direcție, a cărui viață este dată peste cap când cartelul G3, o organizație criminală extraterestră, invadează Pământul cu planuri de a procesa umanitatea ca pe o drog. O armă extraterestră vorbitoare numită Kenny convinge jucătorul să ia lupta înapoi, iar povestea principală implică devenirea unui vânător de recompense care urmărește și elimină conducerea cartelului, țintă cu țintă.
Combaterea este construită în jurul Gatlianilor, cinci arme extraterestre conștiente care vorbesc constant pe parcursul jocului.
