Take Command of Your Battlegroup
- The Cold War-era armed forces of six nations - aligned to NATO or Warsaw Pact - can be led into a hyper-detailed World War III: U.S., West Germany, United Kingdom, and France square off against the Soviet Union and East Germany. From conscripts and main battle tanks to mobile SAM systems, self-propelled artillery, scout helicopters, strike aircraft, and fast interceptors, each WARNO nation has its unique arsenal of vehicles, planes, and soldiers.

Over WARNO
WARNO is een real-time tactisch oorlogsspel ontwikkeld en uitgegeven door Eugen Systems, een onafhankelijke studio met meer dan twintig jaar ervaring in het maken van militaire strategie games, waaronder R.U.S.E., de Wargame serie, en Steel Division. WARNO ging op 20 januari 2022 in Steam Early Access en bereikte zijn volledige 1.0 release op 23 mei 2024. Het spel speelt zich af in een alternatieve 1989, die afwijkt van de geschiedenis in april 1987 wanneer hardliners een coup plegen tegen Mikhail Gorbachev vanwege zijn perestroika hervormingen, en een troika vormen van de Communistische Partij, KGB, en het Sovjetleger die vastbesloten zijn om de Sovjetunie in zijn oude glorie te herstellen. Wat volgt is een conventionele oorlog tussen NATO en het Warschaupact langs de Binnen-Duitse Grens en Tsjechoslowakije.
