Who Is Jeff the Land Shark in Marvel Comics
Jeff the Land Shark is a baby shark with four legs who can breathe out of water, so he walks around on land much like a small dog. He can't talk and shows how he feels with growls, purrs and other noises. Fans know him for his sharp teeth, his huge appetite and his playful, puppy-like personality.
Jeff belongs to a species of land sharks that the villain M.O.D.O.K. Superior created. Writer Kelly Thompson and artist Daniele Di Nicuolo brought Jeff the Land Shark into the West Coast Avengers comics, where Gwenpool adopted Jeff and named him after a kitten she once had to give up.

Jeff dives under, pops up and swallows every hero near him, friend or enemy, then spits everyone back out when the move ends. Swallowed enemies take damage the whole time they sit inside Jeff.
Oblivious Cuteness (Passive) cuts damage from critical hits: A passive works on its own without any key press. Critical hits are shots that land on a weak spot such as the head and deal extra damage, and Jeff takes less damage from them.
