DOOM (2016) is the other October addition and provides a GOG code. Amazon has not yet revealed the rest of October’s claimable PC game lineup, so additional games may be added later in the month.
September’s games expire between October 7 and October 21. Older offers have separate deadlines, so check the table and claim any game you want as soon as possible.
How to Claim Amazon Prime Free Games
Claiming Amazon Prime free games requires an active Prime membership. The offers are now displayed through Amazon Luna, but the final redemption process depends on the platform assigned to each game.
Visit the Amazon Luna claims page
Sign in with the Amazon account connected to your Prime membership
Open the Claim Games section
Select the game you want
Click Claim Game or Get Game
Follow the instructions for the listed platform
Complete the redemption before the offer expires
The two October additions use different redemption methods. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit requires a connected Epic Games Store account, while DOOM (2016) provides a code that must be redeemed through GOG.
Other Prime gaming offers may use different redemption methods:
Epic Games Store: Connect your Epic account and add the game directly to its library
GOG: Receive a code and redeem it through the GOG website or GOG Galaxy
Microsoft Store: Receive a code and redeem it through the Microsoft Store
Amazon Games App: Add the game directly to Amazon’s PC gaming launcher
Legacy Games: Follow the supplied instructions and redeem the provided code through Legacy Games
Claiming an offer through Amazon may not always complete the entire process. If Amazon provides an activation code, redeem that code on the correct platform before its separate expiration date.
Successfully redeemed PC games remain attached to the corresponding platform account after the claim period ends. They can also remain playable if you later cancel Amazon Prime. This does not apply to Luna Standard cloud games, which are only available while they remain in the rotating catalog and you have an eligible membership.
