Everything New in ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky Updated

ARC Raiders dropped a massive patch with the Shrouded Sky update (1.17.0), and massive is an understatement. Players had to download a 15 GB update just to get in. Released on February 24, 2026, by Embark Studios, this update brings a significant amount of new content to keep the game fresh, including the Hurricane map condition, two new ARC enemy types, the Weather Monitoring System player project, a new free Raider Deck, map changes, weapon balance adjustments, and much more. New ARC Threat

The Firefly is a new armored flying ARC that gets in close and unleashes a flamethrower. Your best option against it is to take it out fast from a distance or duck into a building and pick it off from there. Letting it close the gap is not something you want to do.

The Comet is a spherical ground ARC that calmly roams the surface until it spots you. Once it locks on, it chases you down and self-destructs, dealing a lot of damage and wiping your shield instantly. You need to destroy it or climb up anything before it gets close.

New Map Condition

The Hurricane is a new map condition that rotates across Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, Blue Gate, and Buried City. It changes how raids play out through strong directional winds, reduced visibility, and flying debris. Here's what the Hurricane map condition brings:

• Increased Loot Value

• Debris Damages Shields (Flying debris constantly degrades your shield while you're exposed outside. Getting inside a closed building stops the decay)

• Raider Hatch Keys Available

• Higher-Threat ARCs

• Wind Affects Movement (Running with a tailwind gives you a speed boost, while pushing into a headwind drains stamina and slows you down significantly)

• Throwables Behave Differently (Grenades, smoke, and gas canisters are all affected by wind direction, so you'll need to account for that when throwing)

Weather Monitor System (New Player Project)

The Weather Monitoring System is the new seasonal project introduced with the Shrouded Sky update. Shani tasks you with collecting materials to build a distributed weather station across Topside. It's a five-stage project, with each stage requiring specific items and rewarding you with useful loot. Completing all five stages also grants a full completion reward on top of everything else.

• 250x Raider Tokens

Note that Stage 2 requires a Comet Igniter, which drops from the new Comet enemy, and Stage 5 requires a Firefly Burner, which drops from the Firefly. Both items are tied directly to the new ARC threats added in this update.

Surgeon Deck (New Raider Deck)

The Surgeon Deck is the third Raider Deck added to ARC Raiders, and just like the previous two, it's completely free. You can claim it directly from the Decks tab in the main menu with no Raider Tokens required. Once claimed, you unlock rewards by spending Cred, which you earn by completing Feats while on raids.

The deck spans three pages and contains 25 rewards totaling 1,070 Cred. The highlights are the Surgeon cosmetic set, which comes in three color variants, a medical-themed backpack, and the Full Beard — one of the most requested features in the game. Outside of cosmetics, the deck also includes useful items like Smoke Grenades, Surge Shield Rechargers, Hatch Keys, and Raider Tokens.
