All Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprites and How to Get Them

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 launched with a full reset on Sprites. None of the Season 3 lineup carried over: it's a brand-new set of companions, and everyone starts from zero.
12 Sprites are live at launch, with 5 more confirmed for later in the season. Each one has its own effect, rarity, and way of finding it. Here's the full list, plus what changed in how you actually get them this time.
All Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprites Summary

Override replaces every Season 3 Sprite. Old collections move into the Sprite Garden instead of staying active.
12 Sprites at launch, ranging from Rare to Mythic, with 5 more confirmed for mid-season updates.
Sprite Chests are gone. The new main method is Cheat Codes, entered at consoles found around the map.
Adventure, Bush, and Jonesy can be picked as your starting Sprite before a match begins.
Most Sprites spawn more in high or mountainous terrain; Killswitch is tied to nighttime matches.
Two variants exist so far: Cheat Master (guaranteed correct code entries) and Gold (bonus elimination XP).
What Are Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4?

Sprites are small companion creatures that follow you through a match and give you a passive buff. They're collectible on top of that, so part of the draw is just filling out the full roster.
Season 3 Sprites don't carry forward as active companions. That collection now lives in the Sprite Garden, a separate space to look back at what you found last season while you build a new one from scratch this season.
All Sprites and Their Abilities in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4

Just remember Rarity doesn't equal power here. A Rare Sprite like Jonesy is still solid for solo survival, while a Mythic like Klombo only pays off if you're already healing constantly in a match. Pick based on your playstyle, not the rarity tag. Here's every Sprite live right now, its rarity, and what it does in a match.
Sprite | Rarity | Effect | |
|---|---|---|---|
Klombo Sprite | Mythic | Gives random items at each level. Levels up only from consuming health or shield items. | |
Sonic Sprite | Epic | Boosts sprint speed. | |
Tails Sprite | Epic | Lets you hover in the air. | |
Shadow Sprite | Epic | Reloads your weapons over time, even when unequipped. | |
Jackrabbit Sprite | Legendary | Grants an extra jump while mid-air. | |
8-Bit Sprite | Rare | Puts an 8-Bit Shotgun in your first chest, with a score multiplier attached. | |
Crown Sprite | Mythic | Adds extra Crown Wins after a Victory Royale. Levels up only from match wins. | |
Adventure Sprite | Rare | Upgrades a random inventory item at each level. | |
Bush Sprite | Rare | Spawns a bush around you after a short delay. At max level, also drops a bush on elimination. | |
Jonesy Sprite | Rare | Restores health or shields a short time after taking damage. | |
Killswitch Sprite | Epic | Gives bullet-time accuracy while aiming down sights in the air. | |
Storm Scout Sprite | Epic | Applies Overdrive after a set amount of storm damage. At max level, reveals upcoming storm circles. | |
The loot pool got a full refresh from Season 3, and a few effects, Storm Scout's circle reveal, for one, tie directly into this season's mechanics. That's worth factoring in if you're building around a specific Sprite.

Upcoming Sprites Coming Later This Season
Five more Sprites are already confirmed, all from Epic's Design-A-Sprite competition. They'll roll out through mid-season updates rather than all at once.
Bullet Sprite: Ammo boxes grant a bit more ammo.
Dumpster Dive Sprite: Jumping into dumpsters gives a chance at random loot.
Honey Sprite: Getting hit spawns a beehive that swarms and damages your attacker.
Pond Sprite: Increases swim speed with each level.
X-Ray Sprite: Reveals enemy positions through walls for a short window.
None of these have confirmed rarities or release dates yet. The descriptions above come from the winning creators, not finalized in-game text. Epic has made small tweaks between reveal and release before, so expect minor changes at launch.
How to Get Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4

The base method hasn't changed: loot around the map and hope one turns up. Sprites spawn as regular pickups, so RNG plays a real role no matter how you play.
What's new is that Sprite Chests are gone entirely. In their place, Epic added Cheat Codes: codes sprayed on walls around various POIs that you enter at Override Consoles to redeem a free Sprite. Finding and entering those codes is its own process, covered separately.
A few Sprites also come with fixed conditions:
Starting Sprite options: Adventure, Bush, and Jonesy, picked before the match starts.
High and mountainous terrain: Crown, Klombo, Jackrabbit, Tails, Shadow, Sonic, 8-Bit, Adventure, Jonesy, and Storm Scout spawn more here.
Nighttime only: Killswitch shows up in matches played after dark.
You can also grab a Sprite off any eliminated player carrying one. That gives you a backup route when RNG isn't cooperating on a specific Sprite. Between map loot, Cheat Codes, spawn conditions, and eliminations, most of the roster is reachable within a handful of matches.

Final Words
Cheat Codes replacing Sprite Chests is the biggest shift this season. Learn that system early if you want to fill out your roster fast. Combine it with a bit of map awareness for the location-locked Sprites, and the rest is just playing matches and letting the odds work themselves out.
