All Prehistoric Plants and How to Get Them in Grow a Garden
Grow a Garden features Prehistoric Plants as a distinct crop category introduced during the Prehistoric Event. These ancient-themed crops include fossilized flowers, bone-covered plants, prehistoric mushrooms, and other species obtained through event seed packs, crafting recipes, and Dino Quests.
Prehistoric Plants were also requested by Jack during the Beanstalk Event, where players submitted matching crops to help grow the community beanstalk. Both events have now ended, but players can still grow, collect, or trade the Prehistoric Plants they previously obtained.

All Prehistoric Plants
Grow a Garden currently has 11 released Prehistoric Plants. Six originally came from Ancient Seed Packs, while the others were obtained through crafting recipes or by completing Dino Quests during the Prehistoric Event.

The Prehistoric Event ran from July 5 to July 19, 2025. Ancient Seed Packs were originally earned through Dino Quests or crafted using a Dinosaur Egg and 5,500,000 Sheckles, while Exotic Ancient Seed Packs were the premium alternative.
Although these packs are no longer normally obtainable, players who still have unopened Ancient or Exotic Ancient Seed Packs can use them to obtain the six included Prehistoric seeds. The original crafting recipes for Amber Spine, Grand Volcania, Horsetail, and Lingonberry are also no longer available.
Bone Blossom was the main Dino Quest reward. Players received one after completing 21 quests and could reset their progress during the event to work toward additional seeds.
Shadow Spine currently appears under the Prehistoric category on the community wiki. However, it remains marked as an unreleased asset, so it is not included among the 11 released Prehistoric Plants.

Prehistoric Plants During the Beanstalk Event
Prehistoric was one of the plant categories Jack could request during the Beanstalk Event, which ran from August 16 to August 30, 2025. Players submitted matching plants to earn contribution points and help their server grow the giant beanstalk.
The number of points awarded depended on the plant's rarity. Stonebite provided the lowest contribution at two points, while the Transcendent Bone Blossom awarded eight points. Silver, Gold, and Rainbow mutations granted additional contribution points.
The Beanstalk Event has ended, meaning Prehistoric Plants can no longer be submitted to Jack. However, they remain part of the game's plant classification system and can still benefit from effects that specifically target Prehistoric crops.
