ARC Raiders Trials Explained: Everything to Know

ARC Raiders features a competitive weekly challenge system called Trials. The game includes this ranking system for players who want guaranteed rewards and seasonal cosmetics beyond regular extraction runs.

Trials unlock once your Raider reaches level 15. The system refreshes every Monday with five new challenges tied to specific objectives like damaging certain ARC types, collecting items, or completing bunker missions. Only your best score from a single raid counts toward each challenge, and you must extract successfully for points to register.

In this article, we'll explore everything you need to know about the Trials system in ARC Raiders, covering how challenges work, scoring mechanics, division rankings, and more!

Ranks

ARC Raiders features 14 total ranks in the Trials system. Each rank represents your competitive standing and determines what seasonal cosmetics you unlock when the season ends.

  • Rookie I

  • Rookie II

  • Rookie III

  • Tryhard I

  • Tryhard II

  • Tryhard III

  • Wildcard I

  • Wildcard II

  • Wildcard III

  • Daredevil I

  • Daredevil II

  • Daredevil III

  • Hotshot

  • Cantina Legend (Top 1000)

Every player starts at Rookie I when entering the Trials system. Most ranks are split into three subranks (I, II, III), with Hotshot and Cantina Legend being the exceptions. Hotshot operates on a global leaderboard rather than divisions, while Cantina Legend is reserved exclusively for the top 1000 players worldwide at the end of each week.

Weekly Trials

Every Monday, ARC Raiders refreshes the five active Trials with new challenges. The rotation changes regularly, though some objectives appear more frequently than others. This week's Trials are:

  • Destroy Fireballs

  • Destroy ARC enemies in the Swamp (DAM Battlegrounds)

  • Search Kitchen Cabinets

  • Damage any ARC enemies

  • Deal melee damage to ARC enemies

Each Trial requires you to reach specific point thresholds during a single raid. Scoring 1,000 points earns one star and an uncommon item, 2,500 points grants two stars and a rare item, while hitting 4,000 points awards three stars and an epic item. Only your best performance per Trial counts toward your weekly total.

ARC Raiders Trials Rewards

ARC Raiders Trials offers two distinct reward types that serve different purposes. Challenge rewards provide immediate loot during weekly play, while seasonal rewards grant permanent cosmetics based on your rank progression.

Challenge rewards unlock automatically when you hit specific point thresholds during a Trial. Reaching 1,000 points earns one star and an uncommon item, 2,500 points grants two stars and a rare item, while 4,000 points awards three stars and an epic item. These rewards drop immediately after successful extraction and can include weapons, blueprints, materials, or accessories. You can claim these rewards once per challenge each week, giving you up to 15 potential item drops if you three-star all five Trials.

Seasonal rewards work differently. These are permanent cosmetics tied to your highest achieved rank during the season, meaning you keep these rewards even if you drop ranks later. Each rank tier unlocks specific cosmetic items, including face styles, emotes, backpack charms, outfit pieces, and weapon attachments. Higher ranks grant all rewards from lower tiers, so reaching Daredevil III automatically gives you everything from Rookie through Wildcard as well.
