Completing this quest rewards you with one Rolanberry Valentione Cake housing item and unlocks access to The Pâtisserie instance.
After finishing the initial quest, you can return to Old Gridania or New Gridania and speak to a House Valentione Pâtissier to enter the baking instance repeatedly. This is where you'll farm Valentione's Day Chocolates to purchase the event rewards.
The Pâtisserie Instance
The Pâtisserie is a timed instance where you collect ingredients from shelves and deliver them to cakes while avoiding patrolling Mammet Pâtissiers. If a mammet spots you, it fires a cone-shaped ice attack that freezes you for 10 seconds and makes you drop your ingredient.
You have 10 minutes to complete up to five cakes. Each cake requires specific ingredients across four categories, with shelves marked by sparkles showing which ingredients you need. The first cake is simple, cakes 2-4 use random recipes, and the fifth cake accepts any four ingredients per category.
The instance rewards chocolates based on completed cakes: 30 for one cake, 60 for two, 90 for three, 120 for four, and 150 for all five. You can enter solo or with up to four players using matchmaking. Players in a party should split up and handle one ingredient section each for maximum efficiency.
You have a duty action called "Bake: Off" that stuns mammets in a cone in front of you. It holds three charges that regenerate every 15 seconds, but you can't use it while carrying ingredients.
