Steal an Egg All Pets, Rarity Tiers and Income Per Second

Last Updated: Sep 11th, 2026 - Angels and Demons pets and two Fusion Shrine pets have been added

Steal an Egg pets turn every stolen egg into income. Players steal eggs from guarded nests, race them home, and hatch each one into a creature that earns money on its own. The stronger the pet, the faster a base climbs toward the next biome.

The Index holds 140 total pets, split between 104 biome pets and the remaining animals locked behind the Shop, the Rift Machine, and the Fusion Shrine, across ten rarity tiers running from Common to Divine. The rundown below covers every pet by biome, the full rarity spread, the limited Shop pets, the Rift pets, the new Angels and Demons pets, and how a stolen egg turns into working income.

Steal an Egg All Pets Summary

Steal an Egg All Pets Summary
  • 140 pets sit in the Index, 104 spread across 12 biomes and the rest split between the Brainrot Egg, the Monster Egg, the Rift Machine, and the Fusion Shrine

  • Rarity runs across ten tiers, from Common through Divine

  • Aetheron is the top earner in the Index, a Divine pet pulled from the Fusion Shrine that produces $6.9B/s

  • Size and mutation multipliers stack together, so the same pet can post very different income numbers

  • Biome order matters, since each biome needs a speed threshold before its eggs become reachable

  • Limited Shop pets never spawn in nests, only from the Brainrot Egg and Monster Egg

  • Mecha versions of every Monster pet exist, hatching at a flat 1% chance

  • The Rift Machine adds 15 exclusive pets across three sacrifice pools, spanning Legendary through Divine rarity

  • A recurring fight against the Abyss Overlord drops its own Secret rarity pet, separate from the Rift Machine pool entirely

  • Equinox, an Eternal pet from the same Fusion Shrine, produces a reported $1.8B/s, a figure that beats every Divine pet outside the top three

  • Angels and Demons adds sixteen pets split evenly between a Light pool and a Darkness pool, topped by the Divine ArchAngel on the Light side and the Divine World Burner on the Darkness side

What Pets Do in Steal an Egg

A pet is the reward for stealing an egg and carrying it home safely. Once hatched, it starts generating income every second, shown in dollars per second. That income pays for pen upgrades, treadmill speed, and trail improvements, which raise movement speed and open access to new biomes.

Size and mutation multipliers stack on top of a pet's base income. A larger or mutated version of the same pet earns noticeably more than a standard hatch, even at the same rarity tier.

Steal an Egg Rarity Tiers Explained

Steal an Egg sorts every pet into ten rarity tiers, and each step up multiplies the income ceiling by a wide margin. Common pets barely register on a base's income total, while the top tier produces sums most players never expect to see this early into a run.

Each tier's pet count and income range appear below.

Legendary through Cosmic form the middle stretch, where most active farming happens before a base can support Secret or Eternal hatch rates. Divine pets sit at the very top, and a single one can outproduce dozens of lower tier pets combined. Rarity ties directly to biome order, since later biomes carry a heavier concentration of high tier hatches. The Rift Machine pushed several tiers higher still, adding fresh Legendary through Divine pets that sit completely outside the normal biome progression.

Forest, Lake, Desert, and Jungle Pets

Rift Pets: Riftborn, Riftbeasts, and Shattered Rift

A permanent Rift Machine sits in the lobby and gives a second path to Legendary through Divine pets that sits completely outside the normal biome grind. Handing it three requested animals produces one of three eggs, the Riftborn Egg, the Riftbeasts Egg, or the Shattered Rift Egg, and each one opens its own pool of five exclusive pets.

A separate, recurring fight against the Abyss Overlord runs on its own thirty minute timer and drops a Secret rarity pet of its own, entirely outside the three sacrifice pools. The table below breaks down all 15 Rift pets by rarity, income, and hatch chance within their pool.

Angels and Demons Pets: Light and Darkness Pools

Angels and Demons sits past Titan Temple as the twelfth biome on the map, and it swaps identity every in-game night instead of running one fixed pool. Whichever form loads in, Angels or Demons, determines which eight pets are stealable until the next rotation. Both sides carry the same rarity ladder and post matching income at every shared tier.

A hidden Fusion Shrine also sits inside the Angels and Demons biome, reachable through a passage behind a waterfall, and it produces two pets that cannot be pulled from any nest. Feeding it an Eternal or Divine pair from the Light and Darkness pools triggers the fusion. Both fusion results carry confirmed income figures.

How to Get New Pets In Steal an Egg

Every pet starts life as an egg sitting inside a guarded nest. Reaching one, grabbing it, and getting it home safely is the entire loop the game runs on.

  • Locate a nest inside a biome the base has already reached through its speed threshold

  • Approach carefully and steal the egg while the guardian beast sleeps nearby

  • Escape the area quickly, since a woken guardian or a rival player can end the run

  • Carry the egg back to an open pen at the base without losing it along the way

  • Hatch the egg once it arrives, turning it into a working pet that earns income

Rift pets skip this loop entirely. A player sacrifices three requested pets at the Rift Machine instead of stealing an egg, and the resulting Rift Egg hatches immediately at the base. Losing an egg mid-run happens often, since rival players can tackle a runner and steal it first. Pet income buys treadmill and trail upgrades, those upgrades raise speed, and higher speed opens the next biome and its stronger nests.

FAQs About Steal an Egg Pets

FAQs About Steal an Egg All Pets

How many pets are in Steal an Egg?

The Index holds 140 total pets. Of those, 104 spread across 12 biomes, and the rest come from the Brainrot Egg, the Monster Egg, the Rift Machine, and the Fusion Shrine.

What is the best pet in Steal an Egg by income?

Aetheron is the top earner in the current Index, a Divine pet pulled exclusively from the Fusion Shrine that generates $6.9B/s at base rate. Shattered Colossus, Nightflame, and Kitsune round out the next three highest earners.

How many biomes hold pets in Steal an Egg?

Twelve biomes hold pets, running from Forest and Lake at the start through Cosmic, Cherry Blossom, Titan Temple, and Angels and Demons at the end.

Does pet size or mutation change income?

Size and mutation multipliers both raise a pet's income above its listed base rate, and the two stack together rather than replacing one another.

Are the limited Shop pets different from biome pets?

Shop pets never spawn inside a nest and only come from the Brainrot Egg or Monster Egg at fixed hatch percentages. Biome pets get earned by stealing an egg and carrying it back to base.

What is the Rift Machine in Steal an Egg?

The Rift Machine is a permanent lobby station that trades three requested pets for one Rift Egg. Each of its three eggs, the Riftborn, the Riftbeasts, and the Shattered Rift, opens a separate pool of five exclusive pets spanning Legendary through Divine rarity.

What is the Fusion Shrine in Steal an Egg?

The Fusion Shrine is a hidden station inside the Angels and Demons biome that turns paired Eternal or Divine pets into one of two exclusive results. Fusing two Divine pets produces Aetheron, and fusing two Eternal pets produces Equinox.

Final Words

Filling out the Index rewards patience more than luck. Steady biome progression, consistent speed upgrades, and a clear read on rarity matter more than hoping for a lucky nest run. Players who treat each biome as a stepping stone, instead of rushing straight for Secret and Eternal hatches, build income faster and close out the Index without stalling on a single tier.
