Where to Find Prickly Pear in ARC Raiders & How to Use It
Food in ARC Raiders does more than keep Raiders going during a raid. Fruit like Prickly Pears also trains Scrappy, the rooster back in Speranza, who collects crafting materials while players are topside, and his upgrades won't happen without the right fruit.

Buried City has the biggest group of cacti in one spot. Head to the southern edge of the map, where a large cactus patch sits on the sandy outskirts, and keep following the western edge for more cacti. More cacti in a small area means more chances at a spawn, so this patch is the first place most players check.
Cacti also grow on the northeastern side of Buried City. These spots have fewer plants, but they're useful for a second check when the southern patch comes up empty.
Tip: Put every Prickly Pear in your safe pocket right after picking it up, so it stays in your stash even if you don't make it to extraction.
2. Dam Battlegrounds Prickly Pear Locations
Dam Battlegrounds has two cactus clusters, one on the northern edge and one on the southern edge of the map. Both sit next to extraction zones, so it's easy to leave quickly once the pears are in your bag.
Southern cacti grow just south of the Research & Administration building. Checking both clusters in one raid gives the best odds on this map, and finishing next to an extraction point keeps the risk low.
Best Way to Farm Prickly Pears
Prickly Pears often take several raids to collect, so a plan saves time. These tips make every run count:
Farm during Lush Blooms: This map condition increases nature loot and wicker baskets, which gives better odds at fruit. Current ARC Raiders map conditions show when it's active.
Check every cactus: Isolated cacti across both maps can also have a pear underneath, so a quick look while passing adds up.
Use a safe pocket loadout: Pears in the safe pocket stay with you after a failed raid, so progress never resets.
