Best Fortnite Girl Skins and How to Get Each One

Fortnite girl skins cover pop stars, anime-inspired fighters, comic heroes, and some of the oldest outfits in the game. Choosing among the Fortnite female skins comes down to what you want: a rare OG flex, a favorite artist, or a character from a show you love.

Fortnite has released hundreds of female outfits since 2017, so this list sticks to the favorites.

Below, you'll find the best Fortnite girl skins by category, how each one was released, and how to get them when they rotate back.

Fortnite Girl Skins Summary

  • The most popular female Fortnite skins come from three places: the Icon Series, brand collabs, and Epic's own originals.

  • Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter and Ice Spice lead the Icon Series picks, and all three have had outfits in the Item Shop.

  • Jinx, Starfire, Chun-Li and Catwoman are collab skins that return through Item Shop rotations.

  • Lara Croft and Calamity first came from Battle Passes, and Lara later returned with a new Item Shop outfit in March 2025.

  • Renegade Raider returned in December 2024 through the OG Season Shop for 1,500,000 XP.

Icon Series and Collab Female Skins

The Icon Series is where Fortnite puts real artists and creators. Ariana Grande arrived ahead of the Rift Tour concert, which started on August 6, 2021, and her full bundle launched at 4,500 V-Bucks.

Ice Spice landed in the Item Shop on November 14, 2024, with a second Rap Princess outfit. Sabrina Carpenter headlined Fortnite Festival Season 8 from April 8, 2025, through the Music Pass plus a Tour-Ready shop outfit.

Jinx was the first League of Legends character in Fortnite, released in November 2021 alongside Netflix's Arcane. Starfire arrived in September 2022, Catwoman in 2019, and Chun-Li came with the Street Fighter crossover in Chapter 2 Season 5.

Lara Croft first came in the Chapter 2 Season 6 Battle Pass in March 2021. A new Lara Croft (2000s) outfit, inspired by The Angel of Darkness, reached the Item Shop on March 14, 2025.

Original Epic Female Skins Players Love

Renegade Raider is probably the most famous female skin Epic has made. She first sold in the Chapter 1 Season 1 Season Shop in 2017, and she's still near the top of most lists of the rarest Fortnite skins.

Her comeback came on December 20, 2024. According to Epic's announcement of the OG Season Shop, players could earn her for 1,500,000 XP until January 30, 2025, and she wasn't sold for V-Bucks.

Calamity, a Season 6 Battle Pass cowgirl from 2018, and Skye from the Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass belong to players who leveled those passes.

Aura first hit the Item Shop in May 2019 and returns often. Her plain, low-key design keeps her a common pick in tournaments and scrims.

How to Get Fortnite Girl Skins

Most players get these skins through Item Shop rotations. Epic never posts a full calendar, so check the Item Shop reset time when you're waiting on a specific outfit.

Since August 2024, newer Battle Pass outfits can return 18 months after their pass expires. Older passes, including the ones behind Calamity and Skye, were sold as exclusive.

Keeping V-Bucks ready means you won't miss a short rotation. For older pass skins like Calamity, Fortnite accounts are the realistic option, and GameBoost lists Renegade Raider accounts and Aura accounts.

FAQs About Fortnite Girl Skins

What is the most popular Fortnite girl skin?

Aura is a frequent pick, thanks to regular shop returns and a clean competitive look. Renegade Raider is the most famous for rarity.

Is Renegade Raider still available?

Not right now. She returned in the OG Season Shop from December 20, 2024, to January 30, 2025, and Epic hasn't announced another return.

Can you still get Lara Croft in Fortnite?

The original Battle Pass version from 2021 isn't available anymore. A new Lara Croft (2000s) outfit came to the Item Shop in March 2025.

Which Fortnite female skins are in the Icon Series?

Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, and Ice Spice are among the best known, and each has had outfits in the Item Shop.

Final Words

The female skins people want most tend to be either very old or very current, and the middle years get forgotten fast.

Renegade Raider's XP-only comeback showed Epic will reopen an OG item through a special event, which is the best hope pass-era fans have.

Icon and collab skins are the safer bet, since they come back on Epic's schedule and rarely disappear for good.
