What is the Renegade Raider?

Renegade Raider is a Rare Outfit in Fortnite, originally available in the Season 1 Shop. Players could unlock the ability to purchase it after reaching Level 20 and then had the option to buy it for 1,200 V-Bucks. It is part of the Storm Scavenger Set and remains one of the most exclusive and sought-after skins in the game due to its limited availability. Since it was never included in a Battle Pass and has not regularly returned to the Item Shop, only a small number of early Fortnite players have this skin in their collection.

Can You Still Get Renegade Raider in Fortnite?

For many years, Renegade Raider was entirely unavailable for purchase. However, in late 2024, Fortnite temporarily brought back the Renegade Raider Outfit as part of the OG Season Shop event, celebrating the return of Chapter 1 Season 1. Players could unlock it by earning 1,500,000 XP before purchasing it in the special in-game shop. This marked the first time since 2017 that Renegade Raider was available to obtain.

The event also introduced an exclusive new Style for original owners who had purchased Renegade Raider in 2017. However, currently, the OG Season Shop is not available, which means that new players can no longer obtain the Renegade Raider skin.

Why is Renegade Raider So Rare?

Renegade Raider's rarity stems from its limited availability and the requirements needed to obtain it. Unlike many skins that are periodically reintroduced, it was originally exclusive to Fortnite’s first season and required reaching Level 20 before it could be purchased for V-Bucks. Even when it returned in 2024, it was only available for a short time and required players to earn a significant amount of XP before purchasing it. Since it is no longer obtainable, its rarity remains intact.

How Much is a Renegade Raider Account Worth?

The price of a Fortnite account with Renegade Raider depends on several factors, including additional rare skins, emotes, and overall account progression. • Checkered Renegade Raider: Introduced in Fortnite’s v8.10 update, this variation adds a checkered pattern to the default look.

• Blaze (Lava Renegade Raider): A fiery redesign of Renegade Raider, featuring a molten effect, though not officially considered a direct variant of the original skin.

• Exclusive OG Style (2024): A special variant given only to players who originally purchased Renegade Raider in 2017, introduced during the Fortnite OG event.
