Peely is an Epic outfit in Fortnite that was available exclusively through the Chapter 1 Season 8 Battle Pass at Tier 47. The skin depicts a human-sized banana character with arms, legs, and beady eyes, created when Jonesy and a banana entered a rift according to Fortnite lore. The outfit features a reactive element that simulates banana ripening, starting greenish-yellow and progressing to a deeper yellow with brown spots as matches go on.

Numerous variants of Peely have been released since the original. Peely Bone costs 1,500 V-Bucks in the Item Shop and returns during Fortnitemares events. Agent Peely was available through the Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass at Tier 1. Potassius Peels and Adventure Peely are available for 1,200 V-Bucks in the Item Shop. P-1000 appeared in the Season X Challenge Pack. Unpeely is part of the Summer Legends Pack. Lil Split was available through the Season OG Battle Pass. Springfielder Peely joined through The Simpsons Battle Pass. Island Adventure Peely required the LEGO Tropical Treasures Premium track for 1,400 V-Bucks. The original Peely outfit includes LEGO and Fall Guys-style variants for use in those respective game modes.

About Peely Accounts

The reactive ripening feature sets Peely apart from regular outfits by slowly changing color and forming brown spots during matches, imitating the natural aging of a banana. This dynamic visual effect was one of the first examples of progressive reactive skins in Fortnite.

Peely is one of Jonesy's closest allies and has played a major role throughout Fortnite’s storyline. The character operated a Slurp Truck during The Collision event in Chapter 3 Season 2, aiding in healing the damaged mech against the Imagined Order. Though not very intelligent, Peely consistently shows courage and loyalty. The character was kidnapped by The Society at the start of Chapter 5 Season 1 before being rescued by Vengeance Jones.

The Banana Bunch Set contains over 10 cosmetic items, including the Peely Pick harvesting tool and Nana Nana glider. Since the original Peely remains exclusive to Chapter 1 Season 8 Battle Pass with no alternative unlock methods, accounts featuring this skin represent early Fortnite players.
