Fortnite features two John Wick-related skins with distinct origins and availability. The Reaper appeared as the Tier 100 reward in the Chapter 1 Season 3 Battle Pass starting February 22, 2018. This unlicensed version predated the official John Wick collaboration and required reaching maximum Battle Pass progression.

The official John Wick skin released on May 16, 2019, during Chapter 1 Season 9 as a licensed collaboration with Lionsgate promoting John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. This version costs 2,000 V-Bucks and features Keanu Reeves' actual likeness. The skin launched with two initial styles before receiving two additional variants in Update v28.01.

The John Wick Bundle costs 2,400 V-Bucks and includes the outfit with all four styles, Assassin Pack back bling, and Simple Sledge pickaxe exclusive to the bundle. Additional cosmetics in the John Wick Set include One Shot Glider, Boogeyman Wrap based on his 1969 Ford Mustang, Be Seeing You emote, Lights Out emote, and Bulletproof emote. The official John Wick skin became the first licensed outfit featuring a real person's likeness in Fortnite. The character appeared in promotional materials and a cinematic trailer showing The Reaper and John Wick meeting in an alley before opening fire on each other, acknowledging the connection between both skins.

The Reaper's permanent unavailability makes it significantly more valuable than the official John Wick skin. Battle Pass progression in Season 3 required substantial time investment as players earned Battle Stars through challenges and experience to unlock tiers. The only way to access The Reaper is through accounts that reached Tier 100 during Chapter 1 Season 3.
