What is Blade Ball?

Blade Ball is a Roblox fighting experience developed by Wiggity, released on June 17, 2023. The core gameplay has players deflecting a homing ball with precise timing, passing it between opponents until someone fails to block it and gets eliminated. The last player standing wins the round. Since launch, the game has accumulated over six billion visits on Roblox and set a record for the fastest game to reach one billion visits, doing so in under 100 days.
The game operates on three currencies: Coins, earned through regular gameplay by winning rounds and getting kills; Roblox Robux, the platform-wide Roblox currency; and Trade Tokens, a dedicated trading currency where one Robux equals one Trade Token. Players use Coins to spin crates and purchase abilities, Robux or Trade Tokens to buy limited and premium items directly from the in-game store.

What does the Blade Ball Shop Include?

The Blade Ball store sells cosmetic and functional items across two main categories: sword skins and abilities. These are purchased through the in-game shop using the appropriate currency or acquired through crate pulls and limited-time events. Third-party marketplaces also carry Blade Ball items for sale, including the Battle Pass and Spins, giving players more ways to access content without relying solely on in-game currency or RNG.
Blade Ball swords are purely cosmetic and change the visual appearance of the blade, each coming with its own custom visual effects, sound effects, and slash animations. No sword skin changes how your deflect works or gives any combat advantage, so the value of rare skins comes entirely from their visual appeal and scarcity in the trading market.
Blade Ball Skins are divided into six rarity tiers, each with different drop rates and availability:
Common — Drop from standard sword crates at an 89% rate for 80 Coins each, with no unique visual effects.
Rare — Harder to pull than Common skins, with slightly more distinct visuals and a modest trading value.
Legendary — Available at a 1% drop rate from standard crates and a 10% rate from premium crates, with glowing color effects unique to each skin.
Limited — No longer sold in the Blade Ball shop directly and can only be obtained through the trading system, making them some of the most wanted Blade Ball weapons in circulation.
Unique — A distinct category of skins with appearances that range from mystical to novelty designs, each carrying its own trading value.
Secret — The rarest Blade Ball swords in the game, dropping at just 0.02% from standard crates or 0.8% from premium crates. Secret skins can be awakened at 1,500 kills, unlocking upgraded visuals, improved effects, and in some cases a custom slash animation, with players able to preview the awakened version before committing to that kill count.
Among all tradable Blade Ball items, the rarest sword is the Dual Chroma Energy Sword, which holds the highest community-assigned trade value of any tradable item in the game at 3,200, making it the most in-demand piece in the current market by a considerable margin.
Abilities in Blade Ball are active powers used during matches, covering both offensive and defensive options. There are currently 60 total abilities in the game, with 32 purchasable through Coins and 28 available through limited or alternative methods. Every ability can be upgraded over time to become more effective, and many have cosmetic reskins that change their appearance on activation without affecting performance. Blade Ball is not pay-to-win, as the most impactful abilities are fully accessible through Coins earned during normal gameplay, and the game itself is free to play with no mandatory purchases required.

Blade Ball Values and the Trading System

The Blade Ball trading system operates through the Trade Plaza, accessible via the Server Selection portal in the spawn area. However, players need at least one win before they can enter the Trade Plaza. Once inside, they can either set up their own booth to list Blade Ball items for sale or check out other players' booths directly.
Trading uses Trade Tokens as the medium of exchange, which players earn Trade Tokens by selling their own Blade Ball items through booths, since 1 Robux equals 1 Trade Token. Abilities are currently not tradable, as the developers have stated this would create imbalances and potential exploit loops within the system.
Blade Ball item values are community-assigned, not set officially by the developers. There is no official value list from the Blade Ball team; all tier lists and RAP (Recent Average Price) data are created and maintained by the community. Values of Blade Ball Items for sale are grouped into tiers from S-tier at the top down through A, B, C, D, and E, with S-tier items commanding the highest prices. Prices fluctuate based on demand, meaning a Blade Ball sword that's most wanted at one point can drop in value if it becomes more accessible or interest cools. Blade Ball Items that are recently acquired through crates, spins, trades, or booths carry a temporary trade lock before they can be listed or transferred, so newly obtained skins aren't immediately tradable.
Cross-trading, which means exchanging Blade Ball items for currency or items from other Roblox games, falls outside of the things Roblox allows in its Terms of Service and could carry the risk of a permanent ban from the Blade Ball Discord server or the game itself. The same risks apply to any Blade Ball items not purchased through trustworthy sources, so players looking to buy outside the in-game shop should stick to reputable third-party platforms like GameBoost to avoid scams or account complications.

How to Buy Blade Ball Items?

Crate pulls in Blade Ball are built around chance, and even spending a significant amount of Coins or Robux on spins gives players no guarantee of landing the specific Blade Ball sword or item they want. GameBoost connects buyers directly with sellers who already own the listed items, so players can pick exactly what they need, a specific Blade Ball sword, a bundle of Coins, Spins, or a Battle Pass, without touching the RNG system at all.
Buying Blade Ball items through GameBoost follows a clear process:
Go through the available Blade Ball shop listings and select the item or package you want to buy.
Complete the purchase through the secure checkout using your preferred payment method.
Have your Roblox username ready, as the seller will need it to locate your account and coordinate delivery.
Once the order is confirmed, the seller will reach out to arrange the handoff through the in-game trading system.
Accept the seller's trade request in Roblox, review the trade window, and confirm the exchange to receive your items directly into your inventory.
Delivery timing depends on seller availability, but most Blade Ball items for sale are fulfilled quickly after purchase confirmation. No account sharing or third-party software is needed at any point, since the entire exchange runs through Roblox's standard trade mechanics.
Sellers with Blade Ball items to list can apply to become a seller at jobs.gameboost.com.
