Roblox Plus vs. Premium: Price, Perks, and Differences
Roblox stopped selling Premium on April 30, 2026, the day Plus launched. Existing Premium members kept their plans. If you still have Premium, you can keep it, add Plus alongside it, or cancel and switch. Once you cancel Premium, you can’t sign up again.
Base Plus starts at $4.99 per month in the US and includes discounts on eligible items, private servers, and direct Robux transfers. If you plan to pay with prepaid credit, you can buy a Roblox gift card, redeem it, and put the credit toward Plus through Roblox’s gift card redemption page.
Roblox Plus vs. Premium Summary
Roblox Plus replaced Premium for new sign-ups on April 30, 2026. Existing Premium members kept their plans and can add Plus separately.
Base Plus costs $4.99 a month in the US and comes with no monthly Robux. Three bundles add 500, 1,000, or 2,000 Robux.
Plus gives you one free private server per supported game. Eligible item discounts start at 10% and rise to 20% in your third consecutive month.
Check your renewal price and monthly allowance before canceling Premium. Once you cancel, you can’t resubscribe.

How Much Does Roblox Plus Cost?
The Roblox checkout page lists these monthly US prices. Check the price shown on your account before subscribing, especially if you’re outside the US or paying through an app store.
Plan | Monthly US price | Monthly Robux |
|---|---|---|
Roblox Plus | $4.99 | None |
Plus 500 | $8.99 | 500 |
Plus 1000 | $12.99 | 1,000 |
Plus 2000 | $21.99 | 2,000 |
All four plans include the same core Plus perks. The bundles add recurring Robux. If you only buy Robux occasionally, compare a one-time purchase with the cost of a recurring bundle before signing up.
What Do You Get With Roblox Plus?
The discount starts at 10% on eligible in-game and avatar items and rises to 20% in your third consecutive month. Resold items and certain fees are excluded. You save Robux at checkout when you buy an eligible item.
Plus includes one free private server per supported game. Roblox introduced the one-server limit on September 24, 2026. A server you paid for separately continues to renew through its original payment method.
Plus members can also send Robux directly to eligible users without a platform fee. The recipient doesn’t need Plus. Roblox’s transfer rules cover age checks, parental approval, and regional restrictions.
Should You Keep Roblox Premium or Switch to Plus?
If you already have Premium and mostly use it for monthly Robux, compare your actual renewal price and allowance with the Plus bundles. Premium 2200 gives you 2,200 Robux a month. The largest Plus bundle gives you 2,000. Check Settings > Subscriptions for your current plan before changing anything.
If you regularly pay for private servers or buy eligible avatar items, base Plus may fit better. You can add Plus to an active Premium plan. Both subscriptions will bill you. If you rarely buy items or use private servers and just want Robux once in a while, a subscription may not be worth it.
Legacy Premium still includes its monthly allowance and trading benefits. Roblox removed the Premium badge and the 10% bonus on additional Robux purchases on May 30, 2026.
FAQs About Roblox Plus vs. Premium
Final Words
If you already have Premium, check your renewal price and monthly Robux before you cancel. Canceling Premium is permanent.
If your group pays for a private server every month, compare that bill with the cost of base Plus. Choose a Plus bundle if you also want a regular Robux allowance.
