Travis Scott Fortnite Skin, Price, Rarity and Return Rumors
The Travis Scott Fortnite skin is one of the most searched outfits in the game, and almost nobody can buy it. It sold for less than a week in April 2020, tied to a concert that drew more players than any in-game event before it, and it hasn't been back since. That scarcity has turned the outfit into a status symbol, and every new return rumor pushes interest even higher.
So is Travis Scott coming back to Fortnite? Nothing official says so. As of October 2026, Epic hasn't announced a return, and the skin hasn't appeared in the Item Shop since April 2020. Below, we'll break down where it came from, why it vanished, and how rare it really is.
Travis Scott Fortnite Skin Summary
The Travis Scott Fortnite skin last appeared in the Item Shop in April 2020, and Epic hasn't confirmed a return.
It cost 1,500 V-Bucks on its own, or came with Astro Jack in the Astronomical Bundle.
The Astronomical event ran April 23–25, 2020, and drew 12.3 million concurrent players at its first show.
Epic pulled his Out West emote from the shop in November 2021, after the Astroworld festival tragedy.
2026 rumors of an April or May return never happened.
The outfit is an Icon Series skin, so any return depends on both Epic and the artist.
What Is the Travis Scott Fortnite Skin?
The Travis Scott Fortnite skin is an Icon Series outfit released in Chapter 2 Season 2. It went on sale on April 22, 2020, the day before his Astronomical concert, for 1,500 V-Bucks.
Players could also buy the Astronomical Bundle, which paired the Travis Scott outfit with Astro Jack, a space-suited character from the same set. The Travis Scott outfit also came with a T-3500 style that gave it a robotic, chrome look.
Attending the concert itself unlocked free rewards, including the Astroworld Cyclone glider and two loading screens. Those items were only available to players who showed up during the event window.
That shop run lasted about six days, ending on April 27, 2020. Anyone who missed that window has had no way to buy the outfit since.
The Astronomical Event That Made It Famous
Astronomical ran from April 23 to April 25, 2020, with several showings spread across time zones. Epic said the opening night drew about 12.3 million concurrent players, a record for an in-game event.
Over every showing, the concert reached about 27.7 million unique players, with total attendance of over 45 million. It landed during the early COVID-19 lockdowns, when millions of people were stuck at home and looking for something to do together.
A giant Travis Scott stomped across the map, players floated through space and underwater, and he premiered a new song, The Scotts, with Kid Cudi.
Later Fortnite concerts, from Ariana Grande's Rift Tour to the Remix finale, built on the Astronomical format, and the skin is a souvenir of where it started.
Is Travis Scott Coming Back to Fortnite?
No return has been announced. Epic hasn't put out any official news about the skin, and it hasn't appeared in the Item Shop in more than six years.
The biggest blow came in November 2021. After ten people died in a crowd crush at Travis Scott's Astroworld festival in Houston, Epic removed his Out West emote from the Item Shop, and the outfit didn't return either.
In 2026, leak accounts on X claimed the skin would return in April, and one even listed a May 29 date and a 6,900 V-Bucks price. None of those dates came true, and Epic never backed them up.
Icon Series skins are licensed deals, so a comeback likely needs both Epic and Travis Scott's team to agree. Until either side says something on the record, treat any return date you see as speculation.
How Rare Is the Travis Scott Skin?
The Travis Scott skin ranks among the rarest Fortnite skins in the Icon Series. Six days of availability in 2020 means only players from that exact week own it, and millions of new players have joined the game since then.
Rarity drives demand. Accounts with the outfit, especially paired with Astro Jack and the Astroworld Cyclone glider, are among the most sought-after Icon Series accounts.
Buying one of the Fortnite accounts with the Travis Scott skin is currently the only way to get the outfit. Before you buy, check that the listing shows the Travis Scott skin in the actual locker screenshots rather than just the title.
FAQs About Travis Scott Fortnite Skin
Final Words
The Travis Scott skin has outlived its own hype. It's no longer just a celebrity cosmetic, since it now works as proof that an account dates back to Fortnite's biggest event of 2020.
This year's rumors showed how little a leaked date means without Epic behind it. A single post with a date and a price was enough to get players waiting, and the date passed with nothing in the shop.
If Epic ever brings it back, expect an official teaser on Fortnite's own channels first. Until then, the skin stays one of the hardest outfits in the game to get.
