GTA 6 Radio Stations and Every Song Confirmed So Far

GTA 6 Radio Stations and Every Song Confirmed So Far

The GTA 6 radio stations have turned into the most picked-over part of the marketing, and after August, there is finally something solid to sort through. Twenty-one GTA 6 songs have played in official Rockstar footage across three releases, and fourteen station names have surfaced in footage Rockstar never released. Grand Theft Auto VI arrives on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.

The soundtrack matters more here than in most games. Vice City's radio built the identity of that city in 2002, and the same trick is being run again on a far bigger budget.

Below, you'll find every track heard in official footage, every station name in circulation, and a straight answer on which of it Rockstar has actually stood behind.

GTA 6 Radio Stations And Songs Summary

GTA 6 Radio Stations And Songs Summary
  • 21 songs have played in official GTA 6 footage: 1 in Trailer 1, 6 in Trailer 2, and 14 in the Extended Look that premiered on 27 August 2026.

  • Rockstar has not published a list of radio stations. The only official nod to a station is the V-Rock logo on Jason's T-shirt in Trailer 2.

  • 14 station names come from unauthorised gameplay footage circulated in August 2026, including V-Rock, Emotion 98.3, Cocoteo FM, Worldwide FM and The Wipe.

  • V-Rock and Emotion 98.3 both ran in Vice City, which fits the return to the same city.

  • CircoLoco Records Radio points at Rockstar's own dance label, founded in 2021.

  • Trailer tracks have historically ended up on in-game radio, so the 21 songs from official footage are a decent bet for the final GTA 6 tracklist.

  • The full soundtrack stays unannounced until closer to the 19 November 2026 release.

What Rockstar Has Actually Confirmed About GTA 6 Radio Stations

Rockstar has confirmed the songs and none of the stations. The official Grand Theft Auto VI page carries the release date, the platforms and the trailers, and it says nothing about radio. No station list, no DJ names, no tracklists.

The single exception is V-Rock. Jason wears a V-Rock t-shirt in Trailer 2 and in the promotional imagery Rockstar put out alongside it, and V-Rock was the hard rock station in the 2002 game set in the same city. A logo on a shirt is a hint from the art team, so treat it as strong evidence short of a confirmation.

Trailer 1 opened with Tom Petty. Trailer 2 layered six more into under three minutes. The Extended Look, which premiered on Netflix on 27 August 2026 before going free on Rockstar's own channel six hours later, ran fourteen more.

Songs used in GTA trailers have consistently turned up on in-game stations afterwards, and most of the Trailer 2 tracks were already diegetic, playing from car speakers and shop radios on screen.

Twenty-one tracks have played in Rockstar's own footage. The trailers gave up seven of them, spread across country, new wave, kompa and classic rock.

The Extended Look then tripled the count in a single sitting, and the spread is much wider: Florida rap, Dominican dembow, eighties synth pop, soft rock and contemporary house all sit next to each other.

I Love Rock 'n' Roll plays at the 2:09 mark of Trailer 2, under the Ammu-Nation commercial, and nobody disputes that it is in there. The version, though, nobody can settle. GTA Base credits The Arrows and their 1975 original, other trackers hear the 1982 Joan Jett and the Blackhearts hit, and Rockstar has never put a credit to it either way.

Rockstar has not said which station plays what. Genre tells you roughly where each track lands, and Def Leppard on a country station would be a surprise, but the mapping is guesswork until the game ships.

The 14 GTA 6 Radio Stations Circulating From the Leak

Fourteen station names came out of unauthorised gameplay footage that spread in August 2026, reported by Kotaku. The footage is widely described as an older development build, which means names, genres and tracklists can all change before launch. Earlier leak batches also named Honey FM and DNU, so fourteen is a floor and not a final count.

Talk radio

V-Rock and Emotion 98.3 both broadcast in Vice City, and bringing them back is the cheapest nostalgia hit available to a game returning to the same coast twenty-four years later. The Wipe reads as the talk station, the slot every GTA uses for its satire.

CircoLoco Records Radio is the odd one out, since the label is real and Rockstar co-founded it in 2021 with the Ibiza party brand. A station built from a catalogue Rockstar part-owns solves a licensing problem that gets harder every year, and it would explain why the dance material in the Extended Look leans modern.

None of this is official. If you are still running the old game until November, our GTA 5 accounts will keep you busy until the dial goes live.

FAQs About GTA 6 Radio Stations And Songs

FAQs About GTA 6 Radio Stations And Songs

How many GTA 6 radio stations are there?

Rockstar has not published a number. Fourteen station names appeared in leaked footage in August 2026, and GTA 5 launched with seventeen, fifteen music stations and two talk channels, so the final count should land in that region or higher

Is V-Rock coming back in GTA 6?

It looks that way. Jason wears a V-Rock shirt in Trailer 2, the station appeared in leaked footage, and it originally broadcast in Vice City. Rockstar has not announced it outright.

Will the trailer songs be playable on GTA 6 radio?

Most likely. Every previous GTA has carried its trailer music onto in-game stations, and five of the six trailer tracks were already playing from radios on screen instead of sitting over the top as score.

When is the GTA 6 release date?

19 November 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. No PC date has been given.

Has Rockstar released the full GTA 6 soundtrack?

No. Twenty-one songs have played in official footage, and the complete GTA 6 tracklist stays unannounced. Expect more reveals in the weeks before launch.

Final Words

Those twenty-one confirmed songs tell you more about the game than the fourteen station names do. Rockstar put Kodak Black next to Captain & Tennille in a single preview, and that range points at a radio dial built for two protagonists with very different tastes.

The leaked station list is useful and fragile at the same time. It came from a build that predates a delay measured in years, and stations get cut, renamed and merged late in development. Anyone treating those fourteen names as a final lineup is going to be wrong about at least a few of them.

Licensing scale is the open question. Vice City ran nine stations on a budget from another era, and clearing rights for a catalogue this broad costs serious money in every region the game sells in. Regional rights can trim a lineup too, so a station that clears in the United States may turn up shorter in Europe.

Keep an eye on Rockstar's own channels through October. The pattern from previous launches puts a soundtrack reveal close to release, and that is when the station lineup stops being guesswork.
