Sorcerer is the only fighter in the table borrowed from another series, and he stays limited to private servers. The rest of the table draws on One Punch Man.
Outside the table, KJ, the game's mascot, can't be bought and is limited to your own private server, top donors, and the developers. The Frozen Soul and Crab Boss can only be spawned in a Private Servers+ server, and The Strongest Pirate is developer-only.
How Do You Get Characters in The Strongest Battlegrounds?
You get most characters in The Strongest Battlegrounds just by joining. The nine free fighters are all on the character select screen from your first match, with no kills, levels, or quests in the way. That rule matters, since some guides mix up character access with the kill counts that open cosmetics.
Monster Form works like a second version of Hero Hunter. Click the star next to his card and pick it from the dropdown. It also leads to Cosmic Form mid-match. During Monster Form's Ultimate, land Hunter's Mark, then hit the marked target with God Slayer to trigger its Apex Execution variant, and your next awakening becomes Cosmic Form.
Two characters in the table cost Robux. The Early Access pass gives you Undying Hero now, along with any future Early Access fighters, and it can be gifted. Private Servers+ adds Sorcerer and lets you spawn the bosses, but those extras stay inside your own private server.
Tech Prodigy started behind the paywall in December 2024 and went free for everyone with the Cosmic Update in May 2026.
Controls, Ultimates and Ranked Basics
Practice movement and defense before anything else. Press F to block, Q to dash, double-tap W to run, and use left-click for your four-hit combo. Keys 1 to 4 fire your skills, and pressing Q when you are ragdolled cancels it with an evasive move.
Every hit you land fills the Ultimate meter. Once it is full, press G to activate it, and each character's Ultimate works differently. Saving it for a fight you are already winning usually beats opening with it.
The Cosmic Update also added 3v3 ranked with Elo matchmaking, a character creator, and dozens of new emotes. Kills in private servers don't count toward your total, which makes them good for practice on the training dummies but useless for stats.
