The pity system guarantees a five-star weapon every 80 pulls. The Epitomized Path system requires you to set a course for your desired weapon. If you pull a different five-star weapon, you earn 1 Fate Point, which guarantees your chosen weapon on the next five-star pull. This makes the worst-case scenario 160 pulls for your chosen weapon.
