How to Check Your MW4 Stats, K/D and Combat Record

Want to know if that last session actually raised your K/D? MW4 stats live in the game's Career menu, and checking them is quick once you know where to click. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 splits the MW4 combat record across a few tabs, so the numbers you want aren't all on one screen.
Third-party trackers add another layer, but only if your account settings let them see your data.
This page explains where every stat lives, how to read it, and how to set up an MW4 stat tracker.
MW4 Stats Summary
Open Career from the top-left of the main menu.
Pick Multiplayer Stats to see your K/D, win/loss ratio, last match, wins by mode, and top three weapons.
Check Progression for your Multiplayer and DMZ levels, plus Prestige and Prestige Master progress.
Open Challenges for camo, Calling Card, and Armory progress.
For a single gun, go to Gunsmith and open its Progression tab.
Beta stats didn't carry over, so your launch numbers started at zero on October 23.
To use an outside tracker, set your profile to searchable and your data to visible on the Call of Duty website.
Where to Find Your MW4 Stats
Your MW4 stats sit under Career, the icon in the top-left corner of the main menu. Inside, Multiplayer Stats is the tab most people want, since it shows your overall K/D and win/loss ratio up front.
That screen also lists your latest match performance, your victories by mode, and your top three weapons. It's the fastest way to see which modes you actually win.
Progression covers the long game. You'll see your Multiplayer level, DMZ level, Prestige progress, and Prestige Master progress in one place, so you can see how close the next Prestige is.
Stats can lag behind your matches. If a game doesn't show up, wait a few minutes, then fully close and reopen MW4. Busy launch weekends make that delay longer.
MW4 Combat Record and Weapon Stats

Weapon progress lives in Gunsmith. Select a gun and open its Progression tab to see its level and camo progress, and check our weapon prestige explainer before you reset one.
The Challenges tab under Career tracks camo, Calling Card, and Armory challenges. Pair it with our MW4 camo guide to plan which weapon to level next.
Don't confuse personal stats with Advanced Weapon Stats. The launch patch notes confirm Advanced Weapon Stats are in the game, and they compare how attachments change a gun's performance, separate from your kills.
What Happened to MW4 Beta Stats
Beta stats were a one-off. During the open beta, Activision ran a dedicated web page where you could log in and see your K/D, wins, time played, and favorite weapon, and the Call of Duty account on X replied with stat cards when players asked. Activision's beta weekend two intel listed a Combat Record reward for this: a hidden weapon blueprint plus an emblem and a charm.
None of that progress carried into the full game. Beta stats reset for launch, so every MW4 combat record started fresh on October 23.
The beta rewards themselves did carry over. Anything you unlocked by leveling in the beta, from the emblem at level 4 to the weapon blueprint at level 30, is waiting in your inventory.
If you're comparing your launch K/D to your beta numbers, the gap makes sense. Beta lobbies ran early weapon tuning, and Infinity Ward retuned TTK and every weapon class before launch.
How to Use an MW4 Stat Tracker
An MW4 stat tracker only works if your Call of Duty profile allows it. Recent Call of Duty games have kept stats private by default, so outside sites can't read them until you change your settings.
Log in on the Call of Duty website, open your Profile, then the Linked Accounts tab. Set both the searchable option and the data visibility option to All, then give it time to update. Activision hasn't published MW4-specific instructions, so this is the setup that has worked in recent Call of Duty games.
Trackers can show more depth than the in-game screen, such as accuracy and score per minute, but they depend on Activision's data feed. If one breaks after an update, the Career menu is still the reliable source.
Your stats tie to your Activision account, so a strong record follows you everywhere. Call of Duty accounts come with progress already built. The MW4 bot lobby explainer shows how MW4 bot lobbies speed up weapon grinds. Our MW4 Ranked Play guide covers the competitive side.
FAQs About MW4 Stats
Final Words
The in-game Career menu covers the basics well, and it's the most reliable source you have. K/D, win rate, and your top three weapons tell you most of what you need after a session.
Wins by mode is the stat I'd check first. It shows where you actually help your team, which is more useful than a K/D padded in one favorite playlist.
Trackers are a bonus. They break whenever Activision changes its data feed, so don't build a habit around one until it has survived a few updates.
