About GTA 5 Steam Accounts
A GTA 5 Steam account is a GTA Online profile on the PC version of the game, bought through Steam, with its rank, GTA$ balance, vehicles, and outfits already built. GTA V arrived on PC on April 14, 2015. GameBoost lists GTA 5 Steam accounts in both the Legacy and Enhanced editions, from budget profiles to accounts with hundreds of modded cars.
Legacy vs Enhanced on Steam
PC players can choose between two editions of GTA V:
Legacy. The original PC version, which Rockstar continues to support.
Enhanced. A free upgrade released on March 4, 2025, adding ray tracing, DLSS and FSR support, and Hao's Special Works.
Separate online sessions. Legacy and Enhanced players cannot join each other, so friends need to be on the same edition.
Both versions on new purchases. Anyone who buys GTA V on PC now receives both Legacy and Enhanced.
Migration within PC. A Legacy profile can be migrated to Enhanced, but profiles cannot move between PC and consoles.
Every PC version launches through the Rockstar Games Launcher, which is why many Steam listings also mention the Rockstar login.
What GTA 5 Steam Accounts on GameBoost Include
Live listings fall into several groups:
Steam Legacy modded accounts. Balances of 5, 8, 10, 15, 20, and 25 billion at Level 500, each with 300 modded cars, 20 outfits, max stats, and unlocks.
Steam Enhanced modded accounts. A $100B account at Level 1,000 with 50 modded cars and 3 mansions, plus higher-end listings with 300 modded cars, 30 Luxor and Deluxo planes, 20 outfits, RP 500, all unlocks, and a listed LSCM level of 1000. Cash on these runs from 10 billion to over a quadrillion.
Total-value accounts. Titles such as 100 Billion Total, usually listed with 40 million in cash, 300 modded cars, and 20 outfits at RP 500 to 1,377.
Full Steam accounts. For example, a six-year-old Steam account that includes GTA V in Legacy and Enhanced, a Rockstar login, and a library of other games, with only a 1M starting balance.
Accounts can also be browsed by Billion, Trillion, Pure Cash, All Unlocks, and Money Boost. Other PC options include Epic Games, Rockstar, and Social Club accounts. Buyers who want the maximum rank can browse Level 8000 accounts.
What to Check Before Buying
The edition tag. Make sure the listing says Legacy or Enhanced, and match it to the friends you play with.
Cash versus total. Check the cash field, since some titles quote totals.
The Rockstar login. Check whether the listing includes it alongside the Steam login.
Rank and title. Compare the level field with the title and screenshots.
