Tom Clancy's name has been on tactical shooters and espionage games for over twenty-five years. The series began with Red Storm Entertainment, the studio Clancy co-founded in the 1990s, and Ubisoft acquired it in 2000 and has published the games since. Four main series carry the brand, each with its own style: squad-based tactical combat in Ghost Recon, close-quarters team shooters in Rainbow Six, stealth in Splinter Cell, and loot-driven online RPGs in The Division.
Ghost Recon
Ghost Recon puts you in command of an elite squad, and it has grown from tactical missions to large open worlds. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (2012) is a near-future, gadget-heavy shooter, Ghost Recon Wildlands (2017) opens up Bolivia for up to four-player co-op, and Ghost Recon Breakpoint (2019) takes the squad to the fictional island of Auroa, with survival elements added. GameBoost carries the original Ghost Recon, Future Soldier, Wildlands in Standard, Year 2 Gold, and Ultimate editions, and Breakpoint in Standard, Deluxe, Gold, and Ultimate editions, plus the Year 1 and Year 2 passes.
Rainbow Six
Rainbow Six started in 1998 as a tactical planning game about counter-terrorism teams, and later entries moved to action, including Rainbow Six 3 Gold Edition, Lockdown, and the third-person cover shooters Vegas and Vegas 2. Rainbow Six Siege (2015) made the series a competitive hit, with five-on-five matches of attackers and defenders in destructible environments. Since June 2025, the base game of Siege has been free to play under the Siege X update, with paid Elite and Ultimate editions that unlock ranked play and more operators. Rainbow Six Extraction is a co-op spin-off where squads of up to three fight an alien threat, available in Standard and Deluxe editions.
Splinter Cell
Splinter Cell follows Sam Fisher, a covert agent who works in the dark and avoids being seen. The original game and Chaos Theory, widely seen as the series' high point, set the standard for stealth games, followed by Double Agent, Conviction, and Splinter Cell: Blacklist, which brought back the Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode. Conviction and Blacklist are available in Standard and Deluxe editions.
The Division
The Division and The Division 2, by Massive Entertainment, are online action RPGs about government agents rebuilding cities after a deadly virus outbreak. The first game takes place in New York, and The Division 2 (2019) moves to Washington, D.C. Both can be played solo or in co-op, and they're built around gear and loot. GameBoost carries The Division in Standard and Gold editions, and The Division 2 in Standard, Gold, Warlords of New York, and Ultimate editions. The Warlords of New York expansion returns to New York, and The Division also has the Survival and Last Stand expansions and a Season Pass.
