About Days Gone

Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure survival game developed by Bend Studio. The game follows Deacon St. John, a former outlaw biker trying to survive in a world devastated by a global outbreak. Society has collapsed, infected Freakers roam the wilderness, and human survivors are often just as dangerous as the monsters outside the camps.

The game is built around exploration, survival, combat, and motorcycle travel. Deacon’s bike is more than just transportation. It is your lifeline across the open world, helping you move between camps, escape danger, chase targets, and travel through forests, highways, abandoned towns, snowy roads, and hostile territory. You need to manage fuel, repair damage, and upgrade the bike as you progress.

Combat mixes firearms, melee weapons, stealth, traps, crafting, and environmental awareness. Small groups of enemies can be handled carefully, but Freaker hordes are the real test. These massive swarms can overwhelm you quickly, forcing you to plan routes, use explosives, create chokepoints, and keep moving instead of standing still.

Days Gone also puts a strong focus on story and character drama. Deacon’s search for meaning, his connection to the past, and his relationships with survivor camps drive the campaign forward. Along the way, you take on missions, clear infestations, hunt enemies, unlock upgrades, and slowly become better prepared for the world around you.

Days Gone is a strong pick if you enjoy open-world survival games, post-apocalyptic stories, motorcycle exploration, tense combat, and large-scale infected horde encounters.
