About Golf With Your Friends
Developed by Blacklight Interactive and published by Team17, Golf With Your Friends established itself as one of the most popular party games available on any platform thanks to its accessible controls, chaotic multiplayer mechanics, and a wide variety of themed courses. The Nintendo Switch version brings the full experience to portable and home console play, making it an ideal choice for couch sessions and on-the-go gaming alike. Up to 12 players can compete simultaneously across thirteen official courses each containing 18 holes, from a pirate cove and a volcano to a Worms-themed course and a candy land.
Three game modes — classic mini-golf, Hockey, and Hoops — provide variety beyond the standard stroke-count format, while power-ups let players trap opponents' balls in honey, freeze them, or transform them into cubes that roll unpredictably. A built-in level editor allows players to create and share custom courses, extending the game's content significantly. Golf With Your Friends holds a Very Positive rating on Steam with over 90% positive reviews and remains one of the most played party games years after its full release. A sequel, Golf With Your Friends 2, is in development and scheduled for a full release across all platforms in Fall 2026.
