Lies of P: Overture is a paid expansion for Lies of P, developed and published by NEOWIZ, directed by Jiwon Choi at Round8 Studio. It was shadow-dropped and released on June 6, 2025, during Summer Game Fest, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. This DLC requires the base game to be owned and installed, along with completing the base game up to defeating the Corrupted Parade Master at the end of Chapter 9, before it can be accessed.

The story sends Pinocchio back through time to the city of Krat in its final days of Belle Époque splendor, right before the outbreak of the Puppet Frenzy that sets the base game's events in motion. Guided by a mysterious figure known as a legendary Stalker, later revealed to be a character named Lea, Gemini's former owner and someone Carlo admired, Pinocchio uncovers hidden backstories and confronts threats that reshape understanding of both the past and future of the series. To begin, players use a new item called Star's Chrysalis at the Path of the Pilgrim Stargazer in the Malum District, repairing a rusted Stargazer to unlock access to the expansion's content.

Three new weapon types are introduced. The Pale Knight is a Gun Blade functioning similarly to a greatsword, capable of firing shots forward or backward to reposition and open up attack windows.
