About OUTRIDERS

OUTRIDERS is a cooperative RPG shooter developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix. Set in a dark and desperate science-fiction universe, the game combines intense third-person gunplay, destructive supernatural powers, character builds, and loot-driven progression.

Humanity is struggling to survive on Enoch, a hostile planet filled with dangerous creatures, violent factions, and powerful anomalies. You create your own Outrider and travel beyond the settlements of the First City in search of a mysterious signal that may hold answers about the planet.

Combat encourages an aggressive approach. Weapons and class abilities work together, allowing players to freeze enemies, manipulate time, control fire, tear through groups at close range, or attack from a safer distance depending on their chosen class and build.

Loot plays a central role in progression. Enemies and missions reward weapons, armor, modifications, and equipment with different attributes. Gear can be improved and customized to support particular skills, status effects, and combat strategies.

OUTRIDERS can be played alone or in seamless drop-in, drop-out co-op with up to two additional players. Enemy difficulty and rewards adjust as the World Tier increases, giving players control over how demanding and rewarding the experience becomes.

The journey across Enoch includes ruined settlements, forests, mountains, deserts, battlefields, and other hostile environments. Story missions, side quests, boss fights, and endgame Expeditions provide multiple ways to develop your character and search for stronger equipment.

The free New Horizon update also expanded the endgame with untimed Expeditions, four additional Expedition maps, transmog features, improved loot systems, balance changes, and matchmaking improvements.
