About Ravenswatch

Ravenswatch is a top-down action roguelite developed by Passtech Games and published by Nacon. It entered Steam Early Access on April 6, 2023, and reached its full 1.0 release on September 26, 2024, following extensive community feedback throughout its development. Passtech Games previously built Curse of the Dead Gods, and Ravenswatch expands on that formula with a heavier focus on hero-based builds and cooperative play.

The Nightmare has invaded the world of dreams, corrupting everything in its path across Reverie, a dark fantasy reimagining of classic folk tales and legends. In response, the Ravenswatch gathers heroes from stories across the world to fight back and restore balance. Nine playable heroes are available at launch, including Little Red Riding Hood, now suffering from lycanthropy, Sun Wukong, the fallen monkey king, and the Snow Queen, wielding her own corrupted powers, each carrying a darker, more violent reinterpretation of their familiar story.

Each run gives players three in-game days and nights to build up power before facing that chapter's boss, whether by choice or necessity once options run out. Completing levels earns talents that improve a hero's skills, with combinations of talents, items, and dreams shaping increasingly powerful builds across a run. Over 50 uniquely designed enemies and epic boss battles populate the world, with the difficulty tuned through extensive community feedback during Early Access to stay challenging without feeling unfair.

Ravenswatch can be played solo or with up to four players in co-op, either with friends or through matchmaking, with hero synergies and relationships adding depth to team compositions. The developers have committed to ongoing post-launch support with no battle pass, in-game store, or hard currency, pairing free content updates with optional premium DLC. The Songs of Thieves update, adding a new enemy faction and new room types, released in 2026 as part of the game's continued content roadmap. Ravenswatch holds a Metacritic score of 84 and a Mostly Positive rating on Steam.
