Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack is a 2D game where the player is a Beheaded Kamikaze and must chase Serious Sam to blow him up. Sam has several weapons, such as a rocket launcher or tossing Serious Bombs, which he will use to destroy the Kamikaze. If they hit the Kamikaze, he will die. The Kamikaze can jump over projectiles, or kick them away if they're getting too close. However, the Kamikaze has a rage meter which will increase whenever he kicks. If the meter gets too high, he will explode, which will take away one of the Kamikaze's lives. If the Kamikaze runs out of lives, the player will lose and have to restart from the beginning. There is also a point system, which rewards the player for things like kicking back projectiles and killing Sam. The levels take place in locations such as a desert and a forest. There are also challenge levels that test the player's skills, which are good for those that have completed the basic game and want more out of it. The player can buy and wear heads for the Beheaded Kamikaze, which will change various attributes of him, such as changing the rage meter penalty for when the Kamikaze kicks a projectile away. These hats represent various characters in the Serious Sam series, such as the Sirian Werebull and the Kleer Skeleton.

Remove your head, grab some bombs, and step into the boots of Serious Sam's most iconic foe, the Headless Kamikaze. Dodge hazards and heavy ordinance from the cowardly Serious Sam himself as you make your way through the chaotic action in an attempt to do what you do best: blow up the vile Serious Sam.

Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack! brings you over 40 levels of:

Frog punting
Missile kicking
Cacti smashing
Bomb booting
Sam chasing

Play forever on one of the three endless challenges.

Each of the levels will have you chasing Sam down through a scorching hot desert or a sweaty jungle. It doesn't get any hotter than this.

Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack! is a part of the Serious Sam Indie Series. The game originally came out on mobile and had micro-transactions but the 65,837,394th time a headless kamikaze chased down Sam, Sam's last wish was for for the game to be updated and released on Steam and that the microtransactions should be removed. So we're doing just that!

Things updated for the Steam launch:

Up-resed the textures so the graphics will look crisper
Added Steam achievements
Added trading cards / badges / profile backgrounds / emoticons
Added semi-partial controller support (some of the controller buttons are set up to jump & dash)
Added a few other keys and mouse buttons to make you jump & dash
Remade all the particle FX with some slight tweaks to make them look cooler
Fixed quite a few bugs and cleaned up some menus and UI
