About Total War: WARHAMMER III – Shadows of Change

Total War: WARHAMMER III – Shadows of Change is a DLC pack that adds new content for Tzeentch, Grand Cathay, and Kislev. It introduces three Legendary Lords with their own campaign mechanics, objectives, heroes, units, and strategic approaches.

The Changeling leads Tzeentch through deception, schemes, and manipulation. Rather than relying only on direct conquest, this campaign encourages players to interfere with rival factions, spread confusion, and pursue hidden objectives across the map.

Yuan Bo expands Grand Cathay with a campaign built around long-term planning and large-scale strategy. His mechanics focus on executing grand stratagems, managing influence, and balancing political and military priorities.

Mother Ostankya brings a darker style to Kislev. She uses hexes, rituals, and witchcraft to disrupt enemies and reshape campaigns through supernatural tools that differ from the more traditional Kislev playstyle.

Each Legendary Lord can be used in both the Realm of Chaos and Immortal Empires campaigns. Their Realm of Chaos objectives are separate from the original Ursun storyline, giving each faction its own path toward victory.

The DLC also introduces three Legendary Heroes. The Blue Scribes support Tzeentch with unpredictable spellcasting, the Golden Knight fights for Kislev, and Saytang the Watcher strengthens Grand Cathay with powerful ranged attacks.

Mother Ostankya gains access to the Lore of the Hag, a new spell lore focused on hexes, incantations, and unusual battlefield effects. This adds more magical options to Kislev armies and supports different tactical builds.

Sixteen additional units expand the rosters of Tzeentch, Grand Cathay, and Kislev. The pack also includes nine Regiments of Renown, plus a new Lord and Hero for each of the three races.
