It entered Steam Early Access on January 31, 2023, and was fully released on October 11, 2024, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It is the first licensed boxing title since Fight Night Champion in 2011 and the debut game from Sheffield-based Steel City Interactive.

The game features a roster of over 70 licensed professional boxers across separate male and female divisions, each with individual attributes and a distinct fighting style. Authentic boxing organizations appear throughout, including the World Boxing Council, Ring Magazine, and BoxRec, and punch statistics are calculated using CompuBox, the same computerized scoring system used in real televised bouts. Kenny Bayless serves as the in-game referee, and Jimmy Lennon Jr handles ring announcements.

The combat system covers more than 60 individual punch types across different angles, ranges, and purposes. A footwork system distinguishes between loose and flat-footed stances, each affecting movement speed and positioning during exchanges. Defensive options include feints, slip punches, weaves, rolls, and blocks, and each fighter has 50 attributes and traits that define their tendencies in the ring.

Career Mode follows a custom fighter's rise from obscurity to championship. Training camp management between bouts adds depth, with decisions about sparring and preparation shaping a boxer's development over the course of a full career. The Create-a-Boxer tool lets players build a custom fighter from scratch. Online multiplayer supports ranked and unranked matches, and local multiplayer is available for two players.
