Malum Caedo is the returning Ultramarine Sternguard Veteran, a heavy hitter with a reputation for purging heretics, while Nyra Veyrath is a swift Sister of Battle who torches enemies and leaves only ashes in her wake.
The campaign is single-player and branching, so the paths you choose lead to unique levels. It takes you to new worlds and biomes, from the towering heights of a hive city to impenetrable mangrove swamps, and you face new enemies from different factions, including Bloodletters and their daemonic Juggernauts. Combat builds on the original's explosive style, with a chainsword, a shotgun, and an arsenal of new weapons, and a navigation guide keeps you pointed toward the action.
