THE NORSE SAGA CONTINUES From Santa Monica Studio and brought to PC in partnership with Jetpack Interactive comes God of War Ragnarök, an epic and heartfelt journey that follows Kratos and Atreus as they struggle with holding on and letting go.
The sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018), God of War Ragnarök picks up with Fimbulwinter well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Odin’s forces in Asgard prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world.
Along the way, they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus must choose between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms.
A FUTURE, UNWRITTEN Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of “Loki” and establish his role in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be chained by the fear of repeating his mistakes or break free of his past to be the father Atreus needs.

About God of War Ragnarök
God of War Ragnarök is an action-adventure game developed by Sony Santa Monica Studio and published by PlayStation PC LLC. It was originally released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 9, 2022, with the PC version launching on September 19, 2024, ported by Jetpack Interactive.
The game picks up a few years after the events of God of War (2018), with Fimbulwinter, the long winter preceding Ragnarök, already underway. Kratos and his son Atreus are living in hiding but cannot avoid the conflict building from Asgard. Odin and Thor are closing in, and Freya, their former ally, is hunting Kratos for what happened to her son. To find answers about Atreus's role in the Ragnarök prophecy and any chance of stopping the approaching apocalypse, the two set out across all Nine Realms of Norse mythology.
Combat builds on the system from the 2018 game. Kratos fights with the Leviathan Axe, the Blades of Chaos, and the Guardian Shield, with a considerably expanded moveset for both him and Atreus. The game is presented in a single unbroken camera shot throughout, with no cuts or load screens during gameplay.
The standard edition includes the Valhalla DLC at no extra cost. Valhalla is a standalone roguelite expansion following Kratos alone into a new location, with mechanics distinct from the main campaign. PC-specific features cover unlocked frame rates, 4K resolution, ultrawide support up to 32:9, NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR, Intel XeSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers in wired mode.
