Hell Let Loose is a tactical multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Expression Games and Cover 6 Studios and published by Team17. It entered Steam Early Access on June 6, 2019, and was released fully on July 27, 2021. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions followed on October 5, 2021.

The game is set during World War II and is built entirely around large-scale 50v50 multiplayer battles. Two teams of 50 players fight across 4km maps constructed from satellite imagery and archival photography of real battlefields, covering locations across Normandy, the Eastern Front, and other WWII theatres. Available factions include the United States, Germany, and the Soviet Union.

Battles run on a resource-based system that requires teams to coordinate across multiple roles. Infantry positions cover riflemen, assault troops, snipers, engineers, and medics. Support roles include machine gunners and anti-tank specialists. Tank crews allow players to operate armored vehicles as a team across multiple positions. Officers direct their squads in the field and place rally points that control where their troops can redeploy. The Commander oversees the entire battlefield from a strategic view and can call in supply drops, artillery strikes, and recon planes to support the team's efforts.

Game modes include Warfare, where both teams contest a chain of sectors across the map, and Offensive, where one side attacks and the other defends a series of fixed objectives. Matches can run up to an hour and a half. Free respawning is not available, making each death consequential and individual coordination with squad leaders a central part of the experience. Hell Let Loose holds a Metacritic score of 79 and a Very Positive rating on Steam.
