Set in 1937, between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the story sends Indy on a globe-trotting investigation into a mysterious ancient phenomenon known as the Great Circle. The narrative was written by Tommy Tordsson Björk, with a score composed by Gordy Haab, and takes players through multiple real-world-inspired locations as the mystery deepens and rival factions close in.

Played from a first-person perspective, the game blends exploration, environmental puzzle-solving, stealth, and hand-to-hand combat in a structure drawing comparisons to immersive sim design.
