MM2 Bat Knife for Sale
Bat is a Godly knife from the 2022 Halloween event, and it is one of the more recognisable pieces in Murder Mystery 2 for a simple reason: it does not look like a knife at all. The model is a wooden apocalyptic baseball bat with grey spikes driven through the barrel at uneven angles, finished with a metal grip and a rounded wooden knob. It sits in a small group of Godly weapons, alongside Candy, BattleAxe, Turkey and Evergreen, that are classed as knives without resembling one.
Anyone looking to buy MM2 Bat today is buying a closed event item. The Halloween 2022 event ended long ago, so trading is the only route left in game, and no new copies have entered circulation since.
When Did Bat Come Out in MM2?
Bat was released during the 2022 Halloween Event, where it sat at tier 20 of the Zombies reward track and cost 50,000 Candies to unlock. There was a catch that kept supply lower than usual: only players who picked the Zombies team during that event could buy it at all. Anyone who joined Survivors was locked out entirely, no matter how many Candies they collected.
What Gun Goes With Bat in MM2?
Bat pairs with Makeshift, a Godly gun from the same event, and together they form the Bat Set.
The two mirror each other neatly. Makeshift sat at tier 20 of the Survivors reward track for the same 50,000 Candies, so each team got one half of the pair. Since no player could buy both during the event itself, every complete Bat Set in the game today was assembled through trading afterwards.
Worth knowing before you shop: the Bat Set currently trades at around 153, which is almost exactly Bat at 120 plus Makeshift at roughly 33. Unlike some MM2 sets, there is no meaningful premium for buying the pair together, so buying the two pieces separately or as a set comes out much the same.
How Rare Is Bat in MM2?
Bat carries a rarity score of 2 and a demand score of 2 on the standard community scales, both of which run from 1 to 10. Those are modest numbers, and they explain something that confuses people about this knife: Bat is permanently unobtainable in game, yet it is not especially expensive.
Scarcity and demand are separate things in Murder Mystery 2. Bat cannot be unboxed, crafted, or earned any more, which locks its supply, but a lot of players collected it during a well attended Halloween event, so plenty of copies exist. Its price reflects steady, moderate interest rather than genuine shortage. That combination is exactly what makes it approachable, it is a genuine event locked Godly at a price most players can reach.
Where Bat Sits Alongside Other MM2 Items
If you like the Bat and want more from the same corner of the game, the Candy knife follows a similar pattern, an event locked Godly from a closed Christmas event that also pairs with its own partner gun. For the tier above, Ancient weapons are the event only rarity sitting directly above Godly, and Chroma weapons are the animated Godly variants that hold the highest values in the game. You can also browse all MM2 knives if you want to compare Bat against the rest of the murderer side loadout.

MM2 Bat FAQ

Bat was released during the 2022 Halloween Event as the tier 20 reward on the Zombies track, costing 50,000 Candies. Only players on the Zombies team could purchase it.
Makeshift is the gun that pairs with Bat, forming the Bat Set. Makeshift was the tier 20 reward on the Survivors track during the same 2022 Halloween event, also for 50,000 Candies.
No, Bat was never unboxable to begin with. It was only ever available as an event tier reward, and since that event closed, trading is the only way to get one.
