MM2 Elderwood Scythe, Blade and Revolver for Sale
Elderwood is one of the most recognisable weapon families in Murder Mystery 2, built around a gnarled, purple tree bark look that runs across every piece in the line. What makes it unusual is that it was never released as a single set. The Scythe and Revolver arrived together in the 2019 Halloween event, and the Blade did not appear until Halloween 2022, three years later.
All MM2 Elderwood weapons are now trade only. Every event that originally released them has closed, so none of them can be unboxed, crafted or bought in game any more.
Elderwood Scythe
The Elderwood Scythe is the Ancient piece of the family and the most prestigious of the three. It was sold at tier 40 of the main event track during the 2019 Halloween Event, costing 80,000 Candies, which made it the first Ancient weapon in the game ever obtainable by buying an event's final tier. Logchopper, Hallowscythe, Harvester, Icepiercer and Gingerscope all followed the same pattern afterwards.
The model resembles an aged tree. The handle is bent and frayed like a trunk, and the blade is purple and black with streaks running through it that suggest a leaf. It was designed by a community creator, IDontHaveAUse.
One thing worth knowing before you buy: the Scythe was a primary target of the 2021 Duping Glitch and lost a large amount of value as a result. Value trackers currently place it around 38 to 50, which is low for an Ancient and makes it one of the most affordable entries into that tier.
Elderwood Blade
The Elderwood Blade is a Godly knife, unboxed from the Halloween Box during the 2022 Halloween Event. The box was permanently removed once the event ended, so trading is the only route left.
Its design keeps the family theme. The guard and handle look like a purple tree branch and connect into one piece, with part of the guard curling up onto the spine of the blade while the rest droops forward over the handle.
It currently sits around 33 to 40 in value with stable pricing, putting it close to the Scythe despite being a tier lower.
Chroma Elderwood Blade
The Chroma Elderwood Blade is the animated counterpart to the standard Blade, and it came from the exact same Halloween Box in 2022 rather than a separate source. Like all Chroma weapons, it cycles through shifting colours instead of holding the fixed purple of the original, and it carries a noticeable premium over the base version in most listings.
There is no way to convert a normal Elderwood Blade into the Chroma version. They are separate items that happened to share a box.
Elderwood Revolver
The Elderwood Revolver is the Godly gun of the family, unboxed from the Halloween Box during the 2019 Halloween Event alongside the Scythe's release. It is the partner piece to the Scythe, and the two together form the original Elderwood Set.
Elderwood Set or Full Elderwood Set?
Two different sets exist, and the difference matters when comparing listings:
Elderwood Set contains the Elderwood Scythe and Elderwood Revolver. This is the original 2019 pairing, and it typically lists around five to six dollars.
Full Elderwood Set contains all three, adding the Elderwood Blade to the Scythe and Revolver. It generally runs from around five to ten dollars depending on the seller.
Because the price gap between the two is often small, checking exactly which weapons a set listing includes is worth doing before buying. Some listings titled simply "Elderwood Set" contain two pieces and others contain three.
Elderwood Trophy Variants
The Elderwood Blade has four Unique tier counterparts: Blue, Bronze, Silver and Gold Elderwood Blade. All four were handed out as trophies to players finishing in the top 100 of the 2022 Halloween Event leaderboard, and like nearly everything in the Unique tier they cannot be traded. They will never appear on any marketplace, which is worth knowing so nobody goes hunting for one.
Where Elderwood Sits Alongside Other MM2 Items
The Elderwood line is a good entry point for anyone building toward rarer pieces, since the Scythe offers genuine Ancient status at a price most players can reach. If you want to compare against the wider pool, browse all MM2 knives or check the Legendary tier below Godly to see where the pricing curve starts climbing.

MM2 Elderwood Items FAQ
Trading is the only way to get any Elderwood weapon in MM2 now. The Scythe came from tier 40 of the 2019 Halloween event, the Revolver from that same event's Halloween Box, and the Blade from the 2022 Halloween Box. All three events have ended and none of the items can be unboxed or crafted.
The Elderwood Set contains the Scythe and Revolver. The Full Elderwood Set contains those two plus the Elderwood Blade, making three weapons in total.
The Elderwood Scythe was one of the main targets of the 2021 Duping Glitch, which flooded extra copies into the game and permanently reduced its value. It never recovered, which is why an Ancient tier weapon trades at a price closer to a mid range Godly.
No. The Blade is a Godly knife from Halloween 2022, while the Scythe is an Ancient knife from Halloween 2019. They are different weapons from different events, three years apart.
No. The two are separate items that both came from the 2022 Halloween Box. There is no in game method that upgrades a standard weapon into its Chroma version.
