MM2 Gingerscope Gun for Sale
Gingerscope is an Ancient gun from the 2023 Christmas Event, and it holds a genuine place in Murder Mystery 2 history. It was the first weapon in the game ever to carry the FX tag, coloured yellow, and the first gun to be given a custom holding and idle animation. Everything the FX system became afterwards started here.
The design leans fully into the theme. It looks like a tactical sniper rifle built entirely out of gingerbread, with a scope mounted on top, a peppermint handle, and white icing and gumdrops set into the body. It was designed by IDontHaveAUse, the same community creator behind the Elderwood Scythe.
Anyone looking to buy MM2 Gingerscope is buying a closed event item. The only in game route now is trading.
How Gingerscope Was Originally Obtained
Gingerscope sat at tier 20 of the Battle Pass during the 2023 Christmas Event and cost 98,000 Snow Tokens to unlock. That made it the eighth Ancient weapon in the game obtainable by buying out an event's final tier, following Elderwood Scythe, Logchopper, Hallowscythe, Icebreaker, Harvester, Icepiercer and Traveler's Axe.
Ninety eight thousand Snow Tokens was a serious grind even for dedicated players, which is a large part of why circulation stayed low and the value climbed the way it did.
Why Gingerscope Is So Popular
Most event weapons are valuable simply because they are gone. Gingerscope is different, it earned its reputation on features rather than scarcity alone.
It is the highest valued tradeable Ancient in the game. Value trackers place it somewhere between roughly 16,500 and 17,750, which puts it in the 98th percentile of all MM2 items.
It was the first FX weapon in MM2. Every FX weapon released since followed the template Gingerscope set.
It has a unique shooting sound effect, making it only the third gun in the game to get one, alongside Harvester and Icepiercer.
It fires a custom red and white trail, so other players in a round can identify it instantly.
Demand sits around 6 to 7 out of 10, which is genuinely high for MM2, where most items sit at 1 to 3.
There is one more reason it carries so much weight. Gingerscope's official partner is the Evo knife Gingerscythe, but Gingerscythe cannot be traded at all. Because of that, the community began pairing Gingerscope with Gingerheart, an uncommon knife from the Christmas 2024 tier rewards, instead. The practical effect is that Gingerscope carries the prestige of the whole Christmas 2023 set on its own, since the knife half will never circulate.
What You Can Buy in This Category
Gingerscope MM2 for sale here covers two things:
The Gingerscope gun on its own, currently listed anywhere from around $459 up to $849 depending on the seller
Set bundles pairing Gingerscope with other pieces, generally around $997 to $1,158
That first range is worth paying attention to. The same gun is selling for nearly double at one end of the page compared to the other, so it genuinely pays to sort by price rather than buying the first listing you see. If you want cheap MM2 Gingerscope, the lower priced sellers here are still well established stores with high order counts and strong ratings, the difference is pricing strategy rather than reliability.
Gingerscope Trophy Variants
Gold, Silver, Bronze and Blue Gingerscope all exist, and all four are Unique tier trophies awarded on the 2023 Christmas Event leaderboard. Gold went to first place, Silver to second, Bronze to third, and Blue to everyone in the top 100.
None of them can be traded. They are locked permanently to the accounts that earned them, so no legitimate listing for a Gold or Silver Gingerscope can exist. Worth knowing so nobody goes looking for one.

MM2 Gingerscope FAQ
No, you cannot still get Gingerscope through normal gameplay. It was only available at tier 20 of the 2023 Christmas Event Battle Pass for 98,000 Snow Tokens, and trading is the only route since that event ended.
Gingerscope officially partners with the Evo knife Gingerscythe, but Gingerscythe cannot be traded. Because of that, players commonly pair Gingerscope with Gingerheart, an uncommon knife from the Christmas 2024 tier rewards, instead.
Gingerscope combines a steep original grind, several game firsts including being the first FX weapon and the first gun with a custom holding animation, a unique shooting sound and trail, and unusually high demand. Most Ancients rely on scarcity alone, which is why many of them trade for far less.
Gingerscope is an Ancient gun. Some marketplace listings incorrectly label it as Godly, so it is worth checking the item itself rather than relying on a listing tag.
