Icepiercer is an Ancient gun from the 2022 Christmas Event, and it holds a specific place in MM2 history: it was the second Ancient gun ever added, following Harvester, and preceding Gingerscope by a year. It is shaped like a large crossbow carved from ice, only the second gun in the game to take that crossbow form after Harvester itself.
It also carries one of MM2's rarer features, a unique shooting sound and trail, putting it in a small group alongside Harvester, Gingerscope, Raygun and Snowcannon. Anyone looking to buy MM2 Icepiercer is buying a gun that stands out both by sound and by sight in every round.
The event that released it ended long ago, so trading is now the only way to get one.
How MM2 Icepiercer Was Originally Obtained
Icepiercer sat at tier 20 of the Battle Pass during the 2022 Christmas Event and cost 75,000 Snow Tokens to unlock, making it the seventh Ancient in the game obtainable this way, following Elderwood Scythe, Logchopper, Hallowscythe, Icebreaker and Harvester.
There is a genuinely interesting quirk in its history: for two days immediately after release, a bug caused Icepiercer to display as a Godly instead of an Ancient. Nikilis fixed it on December 23rd, 2022, restoring the correct rarity. That bug is exactly why some current marketplace listings still mistag it as Godly, an old error that has simply carried forward on some storefronts rather than a new mistake.
What You Can Buy in This Category
Icepiercer MM2 for sale here breaks down into a few options:
Icepiercer on its own, generally priced between $5.98 and $17.30 depending on the seller
Icebreaker + Icepiercer Set, pairing it with the 2020 Ancient gun Icebreaker, a common informal substitute since Icepiercer's actual partner rarely circulates
Bow Set (Harvester + Icepiercer), pairing it with the earlier Ancient gun instead
Prices for the same gun vary noticeably between sellers on this page, so comparing a few listings is worth the minute it takes before buying.
Icepiercer's Actual Partner and Trophy Variants
Icepiercer officially pairs with the Ancient knife Icebreaker and the Godly gun Iceblaster, together forming the Full Ice Set, though this full three piece combination is rarely seen in trading, which is why sellers typically substitute a two piece pairing instead.
Icepiercer also has Red, Bronze, Silver and Gold reskin variants, all Unique tier trophies awarded on the 2022 Christmas Event Tokens-Collected Leaderboard. Bronze went to third place specifically, Red to the wider top 100. None of these can be traded, so no legitimate listing for one should exist.
Where Icepiercer Sits Alongside Other MM2 Items
Icepiercer sits in the same small, historically important group as Harvester and Gingerscope, the only three guns with a genuinely unique sound and trail from that early Ancient gun era. Comparing it against the wider Ancient tier shows how its price sits relative to both earlier and later releases, and you can browse the full MM2 guns category to see how it compares to the rest of the sheriff loadout.

MM2 Icepiercer FAQ
Icepiercer is an Ancient gun. A bug briefly displayed it as Godly for two days after its December 2022 release, which was fixed by the developer, but that old error is why some current listings still mistag it.
Trading is the only way to get Icepiercer now. It was a tier 20 Battle Pass reward during the 2022 Christmas Event for 75,000 Snow Tokens, and since that event ended it can no longer be earned in game.
Yes, you keep the Icepiercer and any bundled items included with my purchase, exactly as shown in the listing.
