What Makes Unique Different From Every Other MM2 Rarity
Unique sits at the very top of Murder Mystery 2's rarity ladder, above Ancient and Godly. What separates it from every other tier isn't just rarity, it's how the items were handed out in the first place. Ancient and Godly weapons come from boxes, crafting, or events you could theoretically participate in. Unique items were awarded almost exclusively to the top 100 finishers of specific past event leaderboards, a fixed, one-time prize pool that closed the moment that leaderboard did.
Nearly everything in this tier is locked permanently to the account that earned it. That's the real reason MM2 unique weapons carry so much weight: most of them will never appear on a marketplace, a trade offer, or anyone's inventory besides the original winner's.
Why Buy MM2 Unique Weapons Instead of Chasing One Yourself
There's no path to earning a Corrupt through normal play. The event that created it happened once, over a decade ago, and Nikilis has never repeated it. Finding a willing trade partner means working through trading servers and putting together an offer strong enough to pry one loose, and even then there's no guarantee anyone's selling.
Buying MM2 unique weapons directly through GameBoost skips that search entirely, you get the exact item at a fixed price instead of gambling on whether the right trade ever materializes.
Corrupt: The Only Unique Weapon You Can Actually Buy
Corrupt is the exception that defines this entire category. It's the sole Unique-tier weapon that can be traded, and its origin has nothing to do with a leaderboard at all. On December 29th, 2014, a scripting error wiped a small group of players' inventories, and creator Nikilis personally gave each of them a Corrupt as compensation. That one-off event is why it exists, and why it's tradeable when everything else in this tier isn't.
Its partner gun is Luger, forming the Corrupt Set, one of the more unusual pairings in the game since Luger is an affordable, easily-unboxed Godly while Corrupt occupies a tier entirely on its own.
Where This Fits With the Rest of the MM2 Shop
If you're building toward the top of the rarity ladder, Ancient weapons sit just below Unique and are worth comparing on price, some Ancients actually cost more than Corrupt despite ranking lower. For everything else in the murderer's loadout, browse MM2 knives or check the full MM2 shop directly.

MM2 Unique Weapons FAQ
Corrupt is the only tradeable Unique weapon in Murder Mystery 2. Every other item at this rarity was awarded to top 100 leaderboard finishers and is locked to that account permanently.
Most Unique-tier items in MM2 were handed out as leaderboard rewards rather than sold, crafted, or unboxed, and Epic-style leaderboard prizes in this game are locked to the winning account with no trading permission at all.
Corrupt itself is a knife, but it pairs with Luger, a separate Godly gun, to form the Corrupt Set.
Yes, you keep the Corrupt knife and any bundled items included with my purchase, exactly as shown in the listing.
