About PGA Tour 2K25
PGA Tour 2K25 is a golf sports simulation developed by HB Studios and published by 2K. It was released on February 28, 2025, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version following on February 6, 2026.
The game is the sixth installment in the PGA Tour 2K series and introduces EvoSwing, a new swing mechanics system that updates how shots are shaped and how the ball travels and settles. EvoSwing adds new shot types, expanded ball flight options, revised roll physics, and visual improvements to how each swing plays out. The changes give players more expressive control over their game and better reflect the variety of techniques used at the professional level.
MyCAREER returns with expanded creation tools and a more detailed character customization system, letting players build their own pro and guide them through a schedule that includes real PGA Tour events and major championships. Dynamic simulations cover the parts of the season not directly played by the user.
The game features 11 licensed male and female professionals, including Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Tom Kim, Brooke Henderson, and Rose Zhang. Twenty-nine licensed courses are included, covering real-world venues such as TPC Sawgrass, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Torrey Pines, Oakmont Country Club, Quail Hollow Club, and Royal Portrush. Topgolf mode provides a more casual alternative to the full simulation experience.
Cross-platform Societies and Ranked Tour tournaments support competitive multiplayer across platforms. Seasonal Clubhouse Passes add ongoing post-launch content throughout the year. PGA Tour 2K25 holds a Metacritic score of 80 and a Very Positive rating on Steam.
