About Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition
The Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition bundles the base game with the Season Pass. Banned Footage Vol. 1 adds three pieces of content. Bedroom tasks players with escaping a locked room while avoiding detection from Marguerite Baker. Nightmare is a wave-based survival mode where players craft tools from scavenged scrap to fend off enemies until morning. Ethan Must Die is a punishing standalone mode separate from the main story, testing survival with only found items and no additional support. Banned Footage Vol. 2 continues with three more pieces of content, including 21, a deadly game of blackjack run by Lucas Baker with life-or-death stakes.
End of Zoe is the largest and final piece of the Season Pass, putting players in the role of Joe Baker, Jack's brother, as he tries to save Zoe Baker from the mold infection consuming her in the swamplands beyond the family home. It runs roughly two hours and includes its own harder replay mode, Joe Must Die, combining the base game's Madhouse difficulty with elements from Ethan Must Die for a tougher, randomized replay.
The free Not a Hero DLC, released alongside the Gold Edition, is available to every owner of Resident Evil 7 at no cost, regardless of which edition is purchased. It follows Chris Redfield in the immediate aftermath of Ethan Winters' escape, hunting down Lucas Baker through the caverns beneath the Baker mansion with a new arsenal built to counter bio-organic threats.
