About Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition
Resident Evil Requiem is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom, and the ninth mainline entry in the Resident Evil series. The game brings the franchise into another dark chapter, mixing psychological tension, cinematic storytelling, exploration, combat, and careful resource management. Capcom positions Requiem as a new era of survival horror, built around fear, immersion, and a more personal story tied to the legacy of Raccoon City.
The story follows FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, whose investigation pulls her into a terrifying case connected to the wider Resident Evil universe. Requiem also features Leon S. Kennedy, giving the campaign a second playable perspective with a more action-heavy style. That split lets the game move between slower, vulnerable horror scenes and faster combat-driven moments without losing the series’ survival horror identity.
Gameplay focuses on tense exploration, dangerous enemies, limited supplies, environmental puzzles, and cinematic set pieces. You may be conserving ammo in one section, searching for clues in another, then suddenly forced into a brutal fight where every shot matters. That mix of fear, pressure, and action is exactly what makes Resident Evil so effective when it is firing on all cylinders.
The Deluxe Edition is made for players who want more than the base game alone. Alongside the full Resident Evil Requiem experience, it adds extra costumes, filters, weapon skins, charms, the Raccoon City Classic audio pack, and Files: Letters from 1998. These bonuses do not replace the main game’s horror appeal, but they give fans more visual variety, nostalgia, and collectible value from the start.
